25.01.2022 Wed 1 Dec 1920 The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), page 11 THE RAIN Light to moderate rain, accompanied at many places by thunder, fell over the eastern half of the State during the 24 hours ended at... 9 a.m. yesterday. In some places the falls were heavy, especially over the central tablelands. Part of the North Coast also received beneficial falls, the best being at Clarence Town, where 100 points were recorded. 22.01.2022 As there is every chance we won't be having our Christmas Markets this year with everything that has happened we will be fundraising from afar. Keep a lookout for our guessing competition which will be guess how many candy canes are in the jar. We do hope to have raffle if we can get some prizes. Before you think Oh no! I can't get my yummy Christmas Cake, fear not you can place an order and I will still be making them. Cakes sell for $10 each. NOTE: Will only be taking orders until Dec 5th.

After about a week of very hot weather a welcome change occurred last evening, when a thunderstorm, passed over the district, resulting in a good downpour. 06.01.2022 Woops, I missed a few days. So here goes my catch up. Tue 23 Nov 1920 Dungog Chronicle : Durham and Gloucester Advertiser (NSW : 1894 - 1954) Page 2... FAREWELL TO MR AND MRS SHORT. At Clarence Town to-night (Tuesday) a farewell will be tendered and presentation made to Mr and Mrs A. Short, who are leaving that centre to take up residence in Sydney. The function will continue between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. There will be a large attendance as Mr and Mrs Short enjoyed widespread popularity, and their departure is deeply regretted. (I wonder who Mr and Mrs Short were and what they did in the town?) CRICKET Dungog A's had a narrow win over Clarence Town on Saturday last, seven runs being the difference. J.
