24.01.2022 Our compere Actor Nicholas Hammond (aka Friedrich von Trapp from the original 1965 motion picture ‘The Sound of Music’) singing ‘Do Re Mi’ with Lisa Butcher our vocalist with the Clarence Valley Orchestra & Chorus - An Afternoon at The Proms 2016. This was a very rare occasion as Nicholas hardly sings anymore, however heard the orchestra back stage rehearsing it and was impressed with the arrangement. Thank you Nicholas, it was a fantastic experience for all on stage and the audience. #nicholashammond #communityorchestra #clarencevalleyculture #visitnsw #visitregionalnsw #visitregionalaustralia #musicislife

16.01.2022 Gabriel’s Oboe, written by the fabulous Ennio Morricone for the motion picture The Mission, played by our very own fabulous oboist Lisa Butcher in 2016 with the CVO. Thank Ennio, the world loved your music.

15.01.2022 To all musicians all over the world, the Clarence Valley Orchestra & Chorus from Grafton NSW Australia, wish you all the very best in the upcoming months ahead with what’s affecting not only the performing arts industry currently, but including everyone else at this time of uncertainty. We thought the photo below was most appropriate, taken at our last major concert in 2019 ‘Music From Around The World’. Keep practicing your instrument and singing your heart out, we will all return soon! Photo Adam Hourigan

Please contact the Saraton Theatre after Thursday 2 July for refunds or to put towards next year's performance on Sunday 31st October 2021. Sorry for any inconvenience. Keep safe!
