25.01.2022 A FEW YEARS AGO // some of you might remember we rescued a baby tawny frogmouth. We called her Owly and she became part of our family. She loved scratches on her head, greeting our guests, kicking Peachie (our dog) out of her bed, dancing to music and knocking on the door for food. Once she could hunt for herself she left and we only saw her a couple of times a year. We always hoped that she would have babies and come back. A couple of days ago hanging out on our wood pile we found a mum with two babies. We feel extremely lucky that we are still here, so green and lush after the rains finally fell in February - which actually washed the bridge away on Possum Brush Road but that’s another story for another day!
