17.01.2022 Do you know what the RBA announcement yesterday really means for you and your home loan? Don't be fooled. It doesn't mean your bank is going to pass on the full... 0.25% interest rate cut. It will take a couple of weeks for all banks (not just the majors) to decide what they are going to pass on to you and even longer to actually pass that interest rate cut on to your loan. At this stage interest rate cuts have only been announced between 0.13-0.15% for owner occupied homes. No need to worry though, your Urban Money staff have you covered. 13.01.2022 The Prime Minister has now announced new closures: Cafes and restaurants - closed but can still do takeaway Food courts and shopping centres - closed Auction ho...uses - closed Real estate auctions - open homes are not allowed Outdoor and Indoor markets - addressed by specific states Beauty therapy, massage, spas - can no longer continue Hairdressers - can still as long as they manage social distancing + time restriction to no more than 30 minutes Amusement parks and arcades - closed Play centres indoor and outdoor - closed Saunas, bathhouse and wellness centres - closed Outdoor physical training limited to 10 people Libraries, community facilities, pools etc - closed Places of worship - closed Weddings can be conducted with only the couple, the celebrant and the witnesses Funerals to no more than ten persons. Family BBQs - not allowed unless its just those who live in the home. Work from home unless you cannot. Do not congregate in groups indoors or outdoors.
