22.01.2022 Another big contributor to helping get the Clare Valley Cruise from concept to event has been Liam at MGA Insurance in Clare. Insuring the Clare Valley Cruise was not an off the shelf proposition however, in helping us to better define the event and our risk profile, we have a solid working solution that everyone is comfortable with.

21.01.2022 We could not have got this far without the assistance of the Mintaro Progress Association. Thanks to all the peoples of Mintaro and surrounds and special thanks to Ross and John who have understood the vision, helped to shape the Event and supported it all they way. Participants in the Clare Valley Cruise should respect the town and support the businesses in the town. It is a beautiful place and we can do something to enhance that, while preserving a place where enthusiasts can really enjoy cruiser motorcycling.

16.01.2022 Swept through a few corners today checking out the circuit for this Sundays Clare Valley Cruise. The Quarry Hill Lookout has bitumen from Horrocks Hwy and overlooks the Polish Hill River area, with PIKES in the distance.

10.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone at SAPOL that has helped us develop the Clare Valley Cruise from a concept into a legitiment event. Especially the officers at Clare Station, current and retired, as well as those in Adelaide that have facilitated the paperwork. Its been some years in the making but we wouldnt finally be on the verge of this truly unique tourism event without your consistent support.

Thanks to all the participants that supported our trial event in 2016, which provided a lot of useful learning that we are going to put into action. 09.01.2022 Thanks to Geoff Brock for his open mindedness and encouragement to pursue the Clare Valley Cruise several years ago - and to assure us that it could be done if it was done properly.

09.01.2022 The Clare Valley Cruise is a Closed Road circuit for Cruiser Motorcycles. If you are unsure where to start, Mintaro is the best bet. Be in Mintaro by 10:15am for the morning session, and be in Mintaro by 1:15pm for the afternoon session.... You will also find Clare Valley Cruise activities centred in Mintaro (Event HQ, Adelaide Motorcycle Centre, music, + local tourism attractions). If you know the area, you can also start the morning session at Sevenhill (Mintaro Rd) or the afternoon session at Leasingham (Mintaro Rd). You can also start each session from Annies Ln (The road that leads to PIKES).

05.01.2022 The Lions Club of the Clare District has made a huge contribution to the Event. Pat, Stuart & Yvonne in particular deserve thanks, as do the 22 volunteer road marshals for the Event. Many of whom have been through several days of training to be qualified. When you see a Lions Road Marshal, please pass on your kind regards for their effort and please remember, above all else, this years Event is a Live Training Day to test the Lions Traffic Management System for the first time - so please be patient. Due process, marshal safety and participant safety are the prime objectives. Cranking out a good time comes in a close second.

02.01.2022 Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council are to be congratulated for providing us with opportunity to develop the Clare Valley Cruise. All the staff have been great, from the leadership of Allan & Roy to the operational support of Leanne, Lol and Caroline - Thank you all. In particular, the efforts to address the roads after the storms and flooding that occurred only a few weeks ago has been second to none.
