25.01.2022 If youre buying your first home you may be eligible for the Home Buyers Assistance Account (HBBA) which provides up to $2,000 to help with some of the costs associated with purchasing your first home! The HBAA is a WA State Government scheme and the grant can reimburse incidental expenses including settlement agent fees, mortgage registration fees, valuation and inspection fees, loan establishment fees, mortgage insurance premiums and lending institutions fees associated wit...h buying the home. To be eligible you must meet the criteria as set out by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety - Consumer Protection Division (Consumer Protection). 23.01.2022 Mark McGowan today announced the WA Government is bringing forward its planning reform package to stimulate our economy. As part of this package he announced, "For smaller projects - in particular patios, for pergolas, or for shade sails - were going to remove the requirement for planning approval.
