20.01.2022 Here is an excercise you can do during those stressed out/overwhelm times. We so need to love and nurture ourselves so we are healthy enough to care for others. Don't forget to make some goals for 2021. Last night someone suggested to imagine that it is the end of next year. Now, write write yourself a letter detailing how it has been a fabulous year for you. What has happened that you have been longing for. How did this make you feel? #goals #youchoose #future

20.01.2022 Someone recently said they thought some my posts were anti-men. For the record, I think men are generally wonderful and I'm so grateful to all the men who have shared their stories with me and enriched my life. I am however, anti-DV! This story is very typical of the process of coersive control from a brave woman. A story that is all too familiar!... Coersive control is a process that develops by degrees so that the other party slowly loses their self-esteem and believes it is their fault. How often do we hear what a quiet, nice person the perpetrator appeared to be to neighbours?
