20.01.2022 We are looking for casual full-time workers for eucalyptus seed collection in the state forest. Our site locations are very remote and we have no access to accommodation - all workers must be willing and able to camp on site. We have a mobile shower/toilet facility with water tanks and hot water. Workers will need to bring:... - tent or camper van for sleeping - camp cooking facilities - food and water. You MUST have your own car for this job. We are currently working an hour north of Omeo. This can be a physical job so if you're in good fitness and enjoy the outdoors, it could be for you. We have tree climbers that drop branches to the ground for the seed to be collected by the team into bins using secateurs. This job would suit travellers looking to extend their Working Holiday visa by an extra year, as we're regional and within the tree farming and felling, and plant cultivation industry. There is limited phone reception due to the remote location of the worksites. Please be aware that sometimes our site location changes and when we do move between worksites we may have a few days off to mobilise. No experience necessary, First Aid ticket extremely advantageous. 40 hours per week, unless there is adverse weather (heavy rain, high wind, high temperatures).
