22.01.2022 We regret to say that we had a spreadsheet error for Overall Placements for the Clash on the Coast as a result some of the overall awarded teams were incorrect. Unfortunately these guys didn't receive recognition of their achievements on the day. We understand this "sucks" as you missed out on your moment - awarding and presentation ceremony, however we are hoping to make this up to you. RXD OVERALL... 1st Place - Team 80 Cooltown Gorillas (CrossFit Cooltown) 2nd Place (TIED)- Team 63 CrossFit Sunshine Coast (CrossFit Sunshine Coast) 2nd Place (TIED)- Team 78 Unbound Athletic (CrossFit Speed) - NOT AWARDED ON THE DAY SCALED OVERALL: 1st Place- Team 14 On the Verge (CrossFit Verge) (AWARDED 3rd on the day) 2nd - Team 32 CFSC Black (CrossFit Sunshine Coast)- NOT AWARDED ON THE DAY 3rd- Team 27 Verging on Insanity (CrossFit Verge)- Awarded 1st on the day). *For the keyboard warriors: Please note, before you decide to flood this post with unfiltered negative comments, that the people who performed the task of score keeping did so voluntarily and under significant time constraints. Please keep your feedback constructive. All we can do is learn from these experiences and aim to improve on our systems in the future. We will endevour to utilize a live scoring system next year to eliminate the chances of this happening. We thank you for your understanding and hope to see you all again next year. Full overall standing will be available in a separate post.

14.01.2022 THANK YOU!!! Competitors/Volunteers/Supporters/Sponsors & Vendors: Chris & I would like to extend our thanks to you all for a wonderful day. ... The community, atmosphere and comradeship was second to none. We weren't competing for sheep stations but was great to see the nigh level of competition throughout the day. It is what we love about our community and hosting the "Clash on the Coast". We were extremely happy with the running of the day (exception of final score keeping- which we will improve upon). SPECIAL MENTION: Our crew of Judges/Score keepers and assistant staff that kept the day running smoothly and to schedule. We wouldn't contemplate doing it without you!!! PHOTOGRAPHER: Grant Williams (this man is amazing!!) I think he did more running around than any of you that competed. Be sure to check back for photos over the coming week for his awesome photos.
