25.01.2022 Realistic LAB400 turntable. You never know what is going to turn up! Had a customer coming in asking for one....Sorry sir don’t have one now, sold one earlier in the year which isn’t much help. A few days later I find this one! Not ready for the shop yet, needs to be serviced, new lid & stylus fitted, detailed, arm setup & final testing. I find it interesting that the marketers thought it was important to highlight the plinth is covered with WALNUT GRAINED VINYL VENEER. Belonged to his late father he wasn’t sure whether to keep them or sell. The reality was he probably wasn’t going to use them so reluctantly decided to sell. If you have been to Classic Hi Fi before you won’t recognise the shop from outside due to scaffolding in front of the shop. To keep us all safe & stop us from walking under the the scaffolding the bottom has been boarded up. Very business friendly, NOT! We have no signage visible & most windows have been blocked! Good job Sydney City Council. After questioning the builders, apparently t...his is as specified by the council with no flexibility to use see through barriers. Nice to see you thinking about small businesses in these tough times! And this is going to be up for 2 months! In such good condition it is hard to believe this time warp set was made during the 1970’s. Great build quality & heavy too. Customer was so impressed he just had to buy it.
