24.01.2022 So latest small side project is an Eaton power steering pump restoration, this is from our Playboy Pink 1965 Convertible. Engine is not far away either. Before and After photos.

24.01.2022 Some more progress on the Cougar. Engine wiring was a bit fried and battery cables weren't very healthy so made up some new a new engine wiring loom and battery cables. Going to install the Holley Sniper EFI now.

23.01.2022 So did the Gangsta treatment to this 70 Cougar Convertible a while back, engine was a bit shagged out so had it freshened up a little........

17.01.2022 Installed most the Holley Sniper EFI. Wiring pretty much done and return line installed. I like these setups, good for up to 650HP or stock. Easy to install, pretty much 5 wires if you are not using it to control timing. I am cheating a little bit as we are using a fuel tank with built in pump and return port. Gives a cleaner look and a little easier to install as you don't have to find somewhere to put the external pump and work out how to put a return into the old tank. I a...lso like the close to stock look when it's all in place, not a lot bigger than a Carby and the wiring doesn't look too out of place. Once you put an air cleaner on there, not a lot gives it away. And they are self tuning. Have to get some new engine pipes made up so I'll get them to weld in a nut for the Lambda sensor. If anyone is interested, I can do a bit of a run down on the installation process. See more

16.01.2022 The Beast lives again. Engine Cam ran in and she is moving under her own steam again. Which is a good thing cos she's a heavy beast to push around!! Engine runs and sounds awesome. Sniper setup was quick and simple to get running.

15.01.2022 One of the most challenging projects I was involved with was the Eleanor GTE500 replica. The body work was a huge undertaking but the finished product was awesome. The boys at Martin Smash Repairs really out did themselves on the paint. The 5spd conversion was also a challenge but well worth the extra effort. The last photo was the car before we started. The old paint was hiding a lot of sins that had to be repaired before the fibre glass kit could even go on and the Right hand drive conversion needed to be complete redone again. Credit goes to Early Pony Parts / FG Autos for the conversion work.

15.01.2022 So in between a few of the larger projects, I've got a small project I'm working on. Upgrading the transmission in the Blue 67 Coupe to a 4spd AOD transmission. It's a bit of mucking around but the end result will be worth it. I'll go through the steps as we go.

12.01.2022 Little 66 Mustang Coupe I did a cleanup on a while back. The Emberglo colour is supposed to be a rarer colour. I quite liked the colour. Still see it getting around town sometimes. Credit to Martin Smash Repairs for the paint again.

08.01.2022 Also on the go at the moment is the GT500 project. Panel repairs and fitting of the kit are progressing well. Not long now until prep work can start for the paint stage. This was going to become an Eleanor but the direction of the project has changed now and it will become a sweet GT500 now. Body and paint work by Martin Smash Repairs

07.01.2022 This would be about my favorite Mustang that I have done I think thus far, only just in front of the Eleanor. Fun to drive and it came up really nice. I actually imported this one from the US as well, but not in this condition.

04.01.2022 One of my repeat customers picked up a nice little toy this week.

04.01.2022 Cougar back from the Exhaust guys so spent a little time installing the new fuel tank today. We have gone with a built in eletric fuel pump tank setup. Everything comes through the factory sender location which makes it a fairly neat setup. Will work well with the Sniper EFI and no need to muck around trying to install an external pump. Only annoying issue with the tank was that it didn't come with fittings so there was some mucking around to find the correct ones. I left the factory sender unit plug in place and made a jumper wire incase the car ever has the EFI removed and a standard tank fitted back in.

03.01.2022 So part of the plan with this little Stang was to keep an original look but go a little modern as well. The crate engine has been fitted with a Holley Sniper EFI system. As you can see, it is hidden away quite well. Extra wiring is minimal and fits up nice and neat. No more stuffing with chokes, cold start issues and flooding.

02.01.2022 Finishing off a few small jobs and doing the Engineering on this little beast, pretty happy with the end result. Will post more of her in the coming weeks.
