21.01.2022 Did you know we have a gas log fireplace inside, heaters in every bedroom, radiant heaters on the roof above the outdoor furniture and BBQ, a fire pit outside and a wood heater in the back shed/outdoor room. Why not keep warm and plan a winter getaway at Classic Ocean Grove beach house

19.01.2022 Classic Open Grove beach house has extended its booking window on AirBNB to 12 months in advance, you can now book dates for Melbourne Cup weekend, Queenscliff Music festival and the whole summer break.

11.01.2022 Here is our latest review: Robs house was just fabulous. Rob was a great host. His responses were always very quick. It was very easy to communicate with Rob. His house was really clean, tastefully done and very well set up. There were many "extra" things in the house which was lovely and much appreciated. Location was excellent, 300m from the beach, quiet area. Good value for money. I would recommend this house to anyone. :) We have some cool new furniture coming soon and a new heater for winter. 07.01.2022 There have been alot of guests lately, here are a couple of reviews: "Great little house. And close to the beach. Quiet neighbour hood and very clean."... "Very fresh, clean property a few minutes walk from the beach. Big backyard, great undercover deck! We had a really relaxing stay in Ocean Grove. Check in was really easy, and host really responsive. Wifi and Netflix was a real bonus, as was the outdoor shower after the beach! Everything you need here for a family trip to the beach."

03.01.2022 While we're really happy that we've been getting a lot of bookings for our property these past few months (thank you all for your support and sharing our page); it's actually meant that we haven't been able to stay in Ocean Grove for quite a while. We miss it; so I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures as a reminder of what makes it so special to us. Hope you enjoy. On a related topic; thank you for all the kind words about the house; we used local tradesmen for t...he floors and indoor painting (drop us a line and we'll pass you their contact info and YES we do plan to paint the outside (and use them to do it) soon! ;-) PLUS we had a lot of fun searching for the decorative items (you see in the photos) at our local shops and rehabbing the vintage furniture we found in the area. We think it came together great and it's delightful to have people tell us that in their reviews. OF NOTE: The blue/white pattern picture above the toilet is actually a piece of original wallpaper, which covered that room completely AND the hallway before the remodel (eeek! pattern overload). It took forever to strip off the walls. So we kept a piece and framed it to serve as a reminder of our rehab success. 03.01.2022 Some recent reviews from some winter stays. We now have around 25 consecutive 5 star reviews. House is newly painted and has some new furniture and a fantastic remote control gas log fire. Book now for a winter or spring get away Robs place was a lovely little house very close to the beach and some eating places. Close drive to surrounding tourist towns. Very neat and tidy and easy to access. Rob and Steph were very quick to communicate and very forthcoming with helpful info...rmation. Thanks Stephanie and Rob, we had a lovely stay! Great neat and clean little place, was perfect for 5 friends heading to Ocean Grove for the night. Good location and nice place.
