05.01.2022 This Saturday, the 15th August, marks the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific Day, and commemorates Japan's acceptance of the Allied demand for unconditional surrender, made on 14 August 1945. For Australians, it meant that the Second World War was finally over. To commemorate and with Weather permitting, Doug will launch our P-40 to fly over various townships in the North East, with times and towns confirmed Friday evening. You can be a part of this day from your Driveway or backyard with your household members, listen for the unmistakeable sound of a V12 engine and look into the sky to see this World War II aircraft fly over. Unfortunately, We ask that you do not come out to the airport as this is against current COVID restriction guidelines.
