22.01.2022 Wow what a week! Cast List up and three incredibly inspiring and beautifully choreographed routines down (and costumed) this weekend for grade 5 and above. Our Mad Hatter and Red/White Queen characters have also now begun. Thank you Miss Eloise, Miss Clare and Miss Bridget with assistant Miss Eliza, your dedication to your art is infectious. So proud of our students to be where they are today, their efforts were beyond impressive. Congrats to all!

19.01.2022 End of week 2 today: We’ve now clocked over 200 CBCC lessons taken via live streaming. Closed doors and cancelled events have lead to such wonderful opportunities ballet classes taken by different tutors (and pianist) from the UK, lyrical classes taken from Houston and this afternoon’s surprise for our performance group - Bollywood. We have performance group lessons scheduled in May for Contemporary repertoire, Broadway Jazz technique, Modern composition, Musical Theatre repertoire and Luigi Jazz technique. June is just as diverse and exciting, will forward an update soon! Thank you to all our guest teachers who have, or who soon will open their living rooms to us

19.01.2022 End of exam week 1. Congratulations to our Primary, Grade 1, 2 and 3’s. They are all looking super proud of themselves!

17.01.2022 Examinations are finally over, congratulations to all students that made it into the exam room, your hurdles this year have been high and your teachers and community couldn’t be more impressed with your resilience. Congratulations must also go to those that didn’t make it, through no fault of their own. Girls, we are so proud of how close you came to achieving your goals, it’s these successes that matter in the end. I’ve personally spent over 50 hours behind the examiner’s d...esk and feel privileged to have shared this experience with our students - yet another silver lining at this time. Now we breathe, rehearse and costume for a couple of days before we start performing at Brindabella Dance Festival. Chookas everyone, you’ve worked hard, now it’s time to just dance! 15.01.2022 Wonderful achievements, recognition and reflections coming from Brindabella Dance Festival this week. The girls have been dancing hard each day for their families (finally), and we continue with troupes tomorrow and Sunday. Too much fun? Hope so!

13.01.2022 Exam season has begun at CBCC. I can’t say it hasn’t been without it’s trials and tribulations, but we’re lucky to have this opportunity and am glad we’ve pushed through. Good luck everyone, you have all worked so very hard!

12.01.2022 Last day of ballet exams yesterday and our dearest thanks must go out to our vocational accompanist Miss Dianna. Her incredible generosity in pulling together three enormous and diverse compilations of music for only three days of examinations has allowed CBCC the opportunity to ‘push forth’ in our quest to achieve Advanced 2, for this year and for 2021/22. Our thanks will never be enough Miss Dianna. A huge thank you too to Grace for giving up a whole week of her college term break to prepare grade exam students. We kick off again this Sunday with modern and tap exams, no rest yet for these girls!

11.01.2022 Big week and CBCC’s time to thank the Brindabella Dance Festival committee for the opportunity to perform, another outlet for all that we’ve achieved to date this year. A collection of solo photos as well as a few more: Carol of the Bells (thanks again BDF for making this performance possible), a socially distanced warm up, a farewell dinner for Miss Catherine, and our gorgeous year 12s who are incredibly grateful to have had their time to shine, with a parent to share their moment.

10.01.2022 This weekend show 2020 finally began. Our hearts are full. Thank you Miss Sophie (and Miss Meg) for revisiting ‘Alice’ for our new adventure - Through the Looking Glass. The pandemic will tell us how our story will end, meanwhile we will so enjoy the journey
