Next year we are planning the World's Biggest Car Boot Boat Bits sale so don't throw it out just yet stow it and bring it along. One persons junk is another persons treasure. It may be worth good money. Stay tuned.

08.01.2022 Miss Marlene will be racing off Rathmines this Sunday along with Keriki, Merle, Kismet and Irene M don't Miss It! A brief background of Historic skiffs: Historic 10ft skiff are close replicas to pre 1940 Australian racing skiffs predominantly from Sydney Harbour & Balmain areas. They are currently 3 handed & have a selection of 3 rigs, big, intermediate & small. Constructed of timber their round bilge planked hulls carrying wooden spars, with gaffs gunter rigged. Challenging to sail, races are conducted in 5 25 knots of breeze with maximum 26 ft peak head kites of up to 300 sq. ft. in area. Most skiffs have a select of kites onboard for various angles & wind strengths. Adhering to the past racing rules : if the mast head hits the water the skiff is DSQ, non finisher & recovery by towing to shore follows.
