25.01.2022 Visitors often use Telstra Tower for navigation. It is also a target line at 3 courses in Canberra including here at the par3 8th at "Royal".

25.01.2022 Paul Casey (Eng) showing you have to be rock steady and a have a smooth tempo for putting. From last year's Australian Open.

24.01.2022 A number of our clients are choosing "Lakes" as their last course on their golf tour with us this Spring. With it's expansive clubhouse , excellent food and panoramic course views, it's great place to conclude a golf trip.

24.01.2022 Our visiting friends from Wollongong Golf Club wait to hit off. Bookings are up this coming Spring from intrastate golfing groups as they look to enjoy quality golf but also somewhere safe like Canberra.

22.01.2022 One of our recent clients from Sydney hits out towards the 18th green with the clubhouse behind. "Lakes" has become a popular choice as a final course for our Capital Bucketlist clients because of it's different design, it's expansive clubhouse and being close to transport routes out of Canberra. Why not put it on your tour with us?

22.01.2022 A deep breath now...who is going to win? Our heart says Rory but from practice round intelligence , our head says Bryson. Who is your pick?

22.01.2022 The 6th on a summer evening. We work with our clients to get their desired tee times. But if it was our choice, this would be the time we would play this course. One of the highlights of a Canberra summer.

21.01.2022 The front nine clifftop holes may get the attention but the back has some fine risk and reward driving holes such as here at the 15th. Clients seem to automatically start putting Narooma on their South Coast Capital Bucketlist with us.

20.01.2022 The view from the cockpit as you take-off on the Seaplane Golf and Gourmet Experience. From here we are now flying over Narooma Golf Course and then back to Tuross Head for nine holes of golf and Thai and Seafood cuisine for lunch. DM us or see our bio to make your booking.

20.01.2022 Travel with us on a group golf tour to Merimbula and we can show you this local haunt. A great place on a warm evening after a round, to dip your toes in the water or be a big kid and jump off the wharf!

19.01.2022 Golf in winter in Canberra. Steaming lakes but the best putting on bent greens.

19.01.2022 The two touch down points for the Seaplane Golf and Gourmet Experience. Nine holes at Tuross Head Country Club followed by lunch at the Pickled Octopus with that view! And that is after the flight down the spectacular South Coast. Totally unique in Australian golf. Book for this summer now! See our bio.

18.01.2022 At QBN if you go wide, you may not be dead but you are either going low or high. The low punch shot or the higj shot over the trees comes in handy here. Shown here expertly by Lynn Carlsson (SWE) and Christine Wolf (AUT) in the 2019 NSW Women's Open.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Australian Curtis Luck who won his first tournament on the secondary Korn Ferry Tour in the US overnight. Curtis, a former US Amateur Champion, has had a rollercoaster couple of years of winning his PGA Tour Card, then losing it. He is back in the running now to be back on the PGA Tour next year!

17.01.2022 Golf on the edge of town. The view from the 3rd tee remind you are in the "Bush Capital".

16.01.2022 No fireworks last night but Braddon which is close to where our clients stay was lit up. Celebrations were confined to the many restaurants and bars in the city.

16.01.2022 The skyline of the Gungahlin town centre has changed as seen from the 18th fairway at "Lakes". Now full of shops, clubs, leisure centres, apartments, cafes and restaurants, it is another place to explore on a Capital Bucketlist tour with us.

16.01.2022 You see the shot. You execute. It all goes pear shaped. And Meghan Maclaren went on after this in a few holes to win the 2019 NSW Women's Open.

15.01.2022 Our first Seaplane Golf and Gourmet Experience on this weekend has been postponed. The Moruya River is flooding and the amount debris in the river, has made take-offs and landings dangerous. With us safety comes first and we always work with the client, if we can, to make another date.

15.01.2022 Golf anywhere. Organised a golf competition in a paddock where two teams had to pitch into 9 squares and play tick, tac, toe on where their shots finished. Lot of fun. Result : Army 2 Civilians 1. Civilians not happy. Spring training for them starts next week.

14.01.2022 One of the choices with our Gift of Golf package is to have a picnic out in the vineyards instead of being inside the restaurant. With wine tasting included and panoramic views over the Spring Range, what a gift to give for Xmas!

14.01.2022 Wearing an old golf shirt and an old golf hat that have graduated to gardening apparel. At a club working bee, whilst the course is closed for green maintenance. Great day to be outside working. Golf would have been even better.

13.01.2022 Guiding Jae Choi around Gold Creek. Selfie gave us long eyelashes. I think it looks better on her than me.

12.01.2022 Available for team photos. All part of the service at Classic Capital Golf Tours. Fun last weekend at the 16th at "Lakes"

12.01.2022 Blossoms are starting to come out. Spring golf is just around the corner!

11.01.2022 We always tell our clients to being a jumper. It's an inland climate. The days can be warm but morning tee times can require an extra layer at this time of year.

11.01.2022 No restrictions at the moment on our Gift of Golf package. With our COVID safety plan in place and no postcode restrictions on visitors to Gold Creek Country Club or Poachers Pantry, this is a great package for you to celebrate now with your golfing friends. See our bio for details.

10.01.2022 We have made it even better. Our Seaplane Golf and Gourmet Experience now includes a flight over the dramatic and world famous cliff top holes at Narooma. Then it is back to your own golf at Tuross Head. See bio for details of this totally unique day in Australian golf!

08.01.2022 The unique double green that finishes the 9th and 18th holes. If you want to do a South Coast NSW Capital Bucketlist tour, you would put Moruya on the list.

08.01.2022 Fairbairn is a pretty funky course. As seen here with the two tier 12th green. With some courses putting visitor restrictions on at the moment, this could easily go into a Capital Bucketlist tour with us this Spring.

08.01.2022 Our clients have found out if you go wide at QBN, you are going low or high. The low punch shot or the high shot over the trees are necessary skills here. Performed expertly by Lynn Carlsson and Christine Wolf in 2019 NSW Women's Open.

07.01.2022 Received this kind review from Mark Hawke from Dubbo (seen here) who recently toured with us. "Thanks for organising a great couple of days for us , the golf courses we played were excellent and we appreciate the trouble I know you went through to try and get us on the courses we wanted during these Covid times. The accommodation was excellent as well , being so close to town it was easy to go out for different meals each night. We would recommend to anyone to use your company and if we plan another trip we will definitely give you a call again."

06.01.2022 The lake behind the 1st green. Staying at Bateman's Bay, you could easily include the Hilltops course in a Capital Bucketlist Tour with your golf friends. 2021 has started. Time to get planning.

06.01.2022 Greg Norman said he liked bunker shots because you do so much with the ball because of the sand. How do you feel about them?

06.01.2022 My Dad at a lookout asked "what's that course?" "Gungahlin Lakes" I said "Good name for it" he replied. "Lakes" has lurking ponds and water carries to negotiate and adds to the palette of course designs that are available in Canberra golf. Include it your Capital Bucketlist with us this Spring as a number of groups are already doing.

06.01.2022 This year's Floriade has been reimagined. Usually the biggest annual tourism event in CBR, to comply with social distancing , it has to be moved out from one location to various community sites around the city.

05.01.2022 Been standing on a lot of first tees lately. Seen a lot of our clients struggle getting their hips through the ball first. I can have the same problem. This is a drill given to me by teaching pro Craig Cox that I use in a warm up with a wedge in my hand. The only way you are going to manipulate the club face and have the ball go straight, is to get the hips through first. Try it out, it works!

05.01.2022 Hitting across the lake on par 3 9th . One of the 11 courses and the most southern in CBR.

04.01.2022 A different view of the lake beside the 10th green

04.01.2022 The breakfast of champions! Do you have a favourite pre-game meal? This Kransky dog with mustard with a side of chips filled a hole with an added bonus of a view over the water near Malua Bay. Game at the beautiful @moruyagolfclub followed. Didn't feel hungry once.

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Bryson DeChambeau for winning the US Open. His out of the box thinking maybe a game changer. Going to the gym now and what about those single length clubs?

04.01.2022 Other than bad weather, it is the bane of every golf tourist. Looking to play a top course but it's just had maintenance. It is necessary for the course but not in your special golf week! With all your bookings with us, we ask the question and will let you know if maintenance is planned.

04.01.2022 Struggling to think of a special gift for Father's Day? Gift of Golf. From $229pp.

03.01.2022 The par 3 17th at "Lakes". The course is tight for bombers, more forgiving for the shorter hitter. Purely for a design difference, it should be on a Capital Bucketlist tour.

03.01.2022 Walking up to the 2nd green. Formerly in the Australian Golf Digest Top 100, some still consider Yowani to be Canberra's toughest test.

02.01.2022 How many of you are lefties? Or is there someone like Phil Mickelson who plays golf left but everything else is right handed?

02.01.2022 There are some great views at 19th holes in Canberra but Magpies has one of the best.

01.01.2022 It was a snowy Saturday in Canberra and yet golf went on. Spring is on the way!

01.01.2022 Playing the short par 3 14th. Often into the wind, miss the green and it is a hard up and down.

01.01.2022 A different view of the par 5 7th. Perhaps the view my ball has as it airmails the green! A course that seems to be on everyone's Capital Bucketlist.
