25.01.2022 We had a great day last Sunday with Ross and the boys from Leongatha. The fishing was fabulous. We caught a lot of whiting, the largest being 45 cm. We have spots available on Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend. Ring Glen to book on 0417 332 533.

23.01.2022 Things have changed at Classic Fishing Charters! As a lot of you know, I have sold Spina, and I have now sold Sea Eagle due to a dramatic reduction in passenger numbers. I have brought my Kevlacat "Adrenalin II" down from Queensland, and she is undergoing a refit, including two new 140 hp 4-stroke Suzuki outboards, a new canopy and a major tidy-up. She is being equipped with the latest electronics, and new fishing gear. We will be available for fishing trips starting in late... October, in a variety of locations including Port Phillip Bay for the snapper season, Westernport, Gippsland Lakes, Corner Inlet, Wilson's Promontory and beyond. Adrenalin II is surveyed for 6 passengers in sheltered waters (e.g. Port Phillip Bay, Westernport and the Gippsland Lakes) and 5 passengers in Bass Strait. Half day snapper trips in Port Phillip will be $110. I will be offering 2- and 3-day camping trips to Wilson's Promontory, and a package deal for the Gippsland Lakes (4 day, 3 night fishing adventures including accommodation). We will also tailor fishing trips to suit your needs.

There are some spots available for this Thursday 16th Mar, plus we still have some weekends available over the next few weeks, Westernport is fishing exceptionally well at the moment. 22.01.2022 Sea Eagle is all ready for the season, after a week on the slips for her annual maintenance. The water in Westernport is still too cold, it's only 13 degrees, but should be good by early November. Taking bookings now.

16.01.2022 Here is Ally with a beautiful calamari she caught on Wednesday on Sea Eagle with Classic Fishing Charters. We are putting together a calamari trip on Saturday 20th May. There are still plenty of spots available, $90 per person, departing 8am from Warneet. Ring Glen on 0417 332 533 to book.

10.01.2022 We had a great day out on Saturday for the first charter for the season. We caught a nice mixed bag of King George whiting to 46cm, pinkie snapper, trevally, salmon, pike, leatherjacket and rock flathead.

05.01.2022 First day for the season on Western Port. The water was only 14.9 degrees C, which is still a bit cold, but we got a few whiting, pinkie, trevally, gummy shark and a salmon.

04.01.2022 Classic Fishing Charter's boat Sea Eagle is operating from Paynesville in Gippsland for January, departing from the Paynesville Fisherman's Wharf. There are three charter options daily: 1. Scenic Cruise to Ocean Grange, 90 Mile Beach, Bunga Arm & Steamer Landing. Departing at 1pm for a 4 hour cruise daily.
