25.01.2022 Off to Tassie for a few days, first leg courtesy of Vline N456 to Broadford

24.01.2022 Big weekend last week. Working for Cruise Express this is down return after a Standard down to Albury pickup passengers return to Seymour and changing over to Broadguage into Southern Cross Friday

23.01.2022 Busy weekend coming up. Yesterday Cruise Express and tomorrow catering on the Royal Train, state 5, built for Lizzie and State 4 Charlie and Di toured on back in the 80’s. The staff at SRHC have done an awesome job to get these units ready, particularly Robbie Pohlman who has put in an extraordinary effort. All we have to do is cater, oh how I love to climb up and down ladders, holding my wife’s bum whist she climbs up (man’s got to do what a man’s got to do). Strolling over crushed ballast for a stroll down between the rolling stock (or lovers lane, that’s what I tell Lindy)

21.01.2022 Another 5 am start . Southern cross to Bendigo , breakfast to dinner . Spirit of Progress - broad gauge

16.01.2022 T357 and P22 shunting to pick up other rolling stock ready for our first standard gauge Cruise Express Richard Boyce trip for the year. Note Parlor is back on SG after many years service on broadgauge. Departed Seymour for Southern Cross at0100, Lindy, myself and the rest of the crew were so tired. Breakfast for a 150 was a squeeze doing preps in Parlor

14.01.2022 Interesting news piece from our Friday trip. Guess the news reporter might like to learn the difference between steam and diesel. Apparently Kevin Wright was mobbed by Gunzl’s after this begging for his autograph
