25.01.2022 Here is the table and bench seats finished, this furniture is made to the highest standard and is personally signed, it's for sale now, if your interested make me an offer.

24.01.2022 This table has been on my page before but not with the seats to match, I need this piece out of my workshop so I will sell it to the best offer.

19.01.2022 This is a table and chairs made for kids, it is made from a timber called Birch which is a hardwood, both table and chairs are made with mortise and tenon joints, strong enough for an adult to sit on and will last forever, I will sell this piece, make me an offer.

18.01.2022 Here is the finished product, from old rough timber to a beautiful piece of furniture, the only thing that is not done yet is some type of handle on the drawers, can anyone give me a suggestion on what type of handle would look good. Remember these drawers are made the old fashioned way with no steel runners just timber on timber.

17.01.2022 Chest of drawers made from recycled Oregon, the feet and nobs have been turned out of the same Oregon, this design is from the old 1930 chests which where built out of cedar or red pine, I’m about to finish this unit in a clear satin varnish. I have built two single beds to match which I will post at a later date.

17.01.2022 This wall unit I have just built out of recycled mountain ash, 4 metres long and 2.3 metres high.

16.01.2022 This is the matching coffee table to the dining table.

16.01.2022 Handmade chopping board made from 165 blocks of Australian red gum and Australian hardwood ( mountain ash). Quite a lot of work in cutting and glueing blocks together, it’s 45 mm thick and has been oiled with food friendly oil. nice board to cut on.

13.01.2022 This is a chest of drawers made from Tasmanian black heart sassafras, the five drawers are with handmade dovetails and the nobs I turned on my lathe from black heart as well, a unique piece of furniture.

13.01.2022 This piece is made from some nice Tassie Myrtle, it has a Walnut pin stripe around the drawer and on the bottom of the rails, the finish is French polish.

12.01.2022 Here is a table that I have just built it's 2.4 mm long and 900 mm wide, the top is out of recycled hardwood with the distressed look, it still has some old white paint on it and the weathered timber, I will put a coat of clear lacquer on this top, the legs are 120 mm x 120 mm with white vanilla paint. I will build two bench seats to go with this table, what is this worth ?

11.01.2022 The timbers have been joined into boards and some have been cut to be glued together to make four legs for the unit that I'am building.

11.01.2022 Would anyone like this handmade glass cabinet in there lounge or kitchen, if so let me know and I’m sure we can work out a deal, it’s built out of re cycled Oregon and been painted in French vanilla. It’s 900 mm wide 1050 high. Need it out of the workshop.

09.01.2022 This afternoon was assembly day, after all the preparation work on the timber it was time to put it together and here we see the unit starting to take shape, the detail in this unit will take place in the next few days, drawers will go under the top and finishing timbers mitred around the ends, have a quick look back at where we started with some very old dirty timber that was going to the tip and keep an eye on how it finishes.

08.01.2022 This is a dining table that has just been finished, it was made for a life long friend. It’s made from Tasmanian celery top ( which is the light timber) the strip and legs are red gum, the legs are hand dovetail for strength.there is also a coffee table to match.

08.01.2022 This is some timber I have just brought it's called black heart sassafras, I am thinking of making a piece of furniture for myself out of it, any suggestions.

05.01.2022 This is some old hardwood that I found at a clearing sale in Essendon, it was pulled out of a farm house in country Victiria, if you keep watching my post you will see how I build a unique piece of furniture step by step from this 70 year old timber.

03.01.2022 How. Many people like this piece, any comments would be welcome

03.01.2022 This is the timber that was in the last post, now it has been dressed and the edges have been straightened ready to be feather jointed, and glued together. ( Feather jointing is a very strong way of joining timber, you need to cut a slot in the centre of each piece then feed a glued piece of ply in the slots, clamp together until glue is dry.)

02.01.2022 The last photo showed you the piece of furniture assembled now we see the drawers being built and fitted into the unit, these drawers have what is called hand made dovetail joints and in the photos you see how they are done, this is the old style of building drawers, no draw runners just timber running on timber, built this way they should last a life time.

02.01.2022 Just built this Solid recycled KD. Hardwood double bed head, the timber came out of an old school, all the joints are stopped mortise and tenon, it is finished to polish or paint.

01.01.2022 Somewhere to hang your hat, for sale highest bidder, it’s 900 m long.
