25.01.2022 What do I do in my spare time Just writing it made me smile. The title of this post really should be what do I do in spare time after my spare time. Maybe too confusing. Il explain. My spare time is in evenings and a day or so on weekends. This is when I get to work with my clay which I consider my hobby, but I still like to push myself further and not just create something once in a blue moon.... I also started to work on my new project again with clear head. Il share it a bit later . But late in the evening when I am done with all the things I planned for my self in my a spare time, I started to read again. I am not usually a person that shares thoughts about each book they read, but my latest read I thought was worth mentioning. Let me share why. The book called I could do anything if only knew what it was by Barbara Cher. And what was so amazing in this book, was the fact that somehow it really made my thoughts run through my head even when the chapter was not so relevant to me. Not every book can really do that. It made me think with every line with every page and helped me to reintroduce myself to myself. It gave me answers to my questions not necessarily directly but by making me dig deep inside and look for them. If you have not read it and you would like to discover yourself in some way, I would highly recommend itAnd if you did, share your thoughts, I would love to hear if you felt the same way. See more

24.01.2022 Procrastination I have been so busy in last few months with kids with my projects with studies I decided to take. I was a mashing! Last couple of weeks though, despite still having same tasks I need to complete, I really slowed down.... I cooked and baked way more than usual, as I still don’t like just sitting around and it felt like I am still doing something. I was replacing all my projects with baking ! After doing some deep thinking I realised that I am procrastinating . So to overcome that, first I let my self to do nothing for another couple of days. I soaked all of this in and made my brain to switch off and try to relax. Sometimes procrastination does happen after such a busy run and your mind is just screaming for relaxation time and recharge. And now I am back Creating again, committing to everything I need to do and most importantly owning it when I don’t. Have you guys ever experienced procrastination? It may feel like such a nice warm a comfy place to be in at that time See more

24.01.2022 Reward your self with this unique feeling! A gift is something nice and pleasant that we give of our own free will as a sign of respect or appreciation. Japanese wisdom says: if the recipient liked the gift, then you shared part of your soul. We all love giving and receiving gifts.... It is possible to suggest that the tradition of giving gifts, as we know now, originated in the primitive communal system. Tribes of ancient people on different continents worshiped pagan gods, later - idols and priests. Ritual offerings of flowers, fruits, animals, and in some tribes even people, were often accompanied by chants and dances. All this was to appease and propitiate the gods in whom people believed. Even at the beginning of mankind existance, people knew: any gift sends a meaningful message The choice of a gift was given great importance. Droughts, floods, hurricanes, lightnings and thunders, turned away luck on hunting or fishing, life or death. All that was dependant on the gift to gods in primitive communal system. Even war or peace between tribes depended on the right or wrong choice of a gift. A handmade personalised gift shows without 1000 words your love, respect and appreciation to your special someone. It gives you an enormous level of satisfaction seeing one’s face when receiving it. Reward your self with this unique feeling! See more

23.01.2022 I think its time to get to know each other a little better. I love baking! Anything and everything. But mostly sweets. This also reflects in my clay work. Did you know that all artists not only chose what materials to work with, but also chose in a way specialty? I feel that deserts are definitely my thing.... But from time to time I love trying new things and this time the idea was a bouquet of tulips. At some points I would also love to try peonies. These flowers are just gorgeous and look amazing made from polymer clay. See more

23.01.2022 Plagiarism Is it possible to always create identical copy of your own work? Not for me . I tried, really. While creating 4 mugs and 4 spoons with cupcakes another day I tried to make them all the same, since they all will be received by one person at the same time.... They ended up same same, but different . I plagiarised my own work and added some twists to each . Do you guys think minor changes in decor are acceptable? See more

23.01.2022 The best advice you received? I have been lucky enough to have people in my life in addition to family and friends that understood me and wanted to see me succeed. I received many valuable advices over the years that I have listened to and used.... The 1 one, my manager years ago gave me was not to take things personally. Clients who say something abrupt and rude may just be overwhelmed with work, home or just be that direct. I have learned to reply on any comment made with respect and gratitude. That helped to be able to work with so many different people, gain their respect and grow myself as a person. The other advice I was given is to abstract myself from the situation, and play the game. While this is a great advice at the time and helped on so many occasions, it lead me to somewhat forget who I really am. Let me tell you, it’s not that easy to rediscover yourself, learn to listen yourself and understand yourself again. One of the latest advices came from a book I was listening. Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. Any achievement I have ever accomplished came not easy to me, not easy at all! There is a saying that clever person will not climb the mountain, clever person will go around. Well I climb! And in most cases many times before I get to step a foot on top and place my flag there. This saying reminded me once again to keep going for my ideas, for my goals despite the odds and visible hope. What was the best advice you have received from someone? See more

20.01.2022 It is more than about clay I’l be honest with you. Creating clay decors was originally just a hobby for me. However with each order I sent and received a warm, grateful and exciting feedback, I understood that it is not just about decor itself. It is about creating something special for someone and even more so their reaction. That truly puts a smile on my face each time and I even do a little happy dance !... I want to thank you for having trust in me to create beautiful and meaningful to each of you decors. And I am looking forward to creating much more unique personalised decors for you all and putting smiles on your faces each time you take a sip . @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

13.01.2022 Do you believe in a world beyond borders? When I started creating decors, I was passionate about cupcakes and dolls . I could not imagine that I would be honoured to work on something special and creative like this.... This mug was for a lovely lady who believes in the world beyond borders. Such an amazing way to live! We all come from different backgrounds and acceptance of who we are erases those geographical and more so political boarders. This is Pangaea, the Earth with supercontinent, before it was broken down to continents as we know them now. Concept wise this was a true challenge for me! And thanks to all my family who helped me to brainstorm through dozens of messages, I was able to create such an amazing concept in my decor. It is indeed a world with no borders! See more

05.01.2022 Cure for sadness Merlin, the wizard of Camelot said: Cure for sadness is to learn something new Did you know that creating and trying something new helps with emotional burnout, stress and so many other issues?... When we get to this state first thought most people have is to take a holiday. A long one if possible. And its great, however when you back to your normal day to day life the feeling will return within hours. Tried and tested . Creation is one of the most interesting and least studied phenomena in psychologyIt is associated with a bright, powerful surge of human activity and brings a sense of satisfaction, joy and a sense of freedom. It is creativity that provides us with the greatest opportunities for realizing our I. Art in particular helps me to concentrate on here and now. Completely immerse myself in the creative process, stop thinking about past and future problems and feel the pleasure of the present. Such creative activities also helps us to cope with anxiety and stress. We can throw in some of our fears and negative feelings into the product of our creation, which will help us to feel better. Or we get to express our joy and happiness, thus consolidating these positive points. @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia See more

03.01.2022 New times- new traditions! So I have been thinking how our lives have changed and noticed that for my family we actually picked up some awesome new/ old traditions. Way before kids, me and my husband would have nights when we cook together with nice music, wine, a bit of dance . ... After having kids, this kinda disappeared and became a legend. And absolutelly organically we have now started doing it again. I mean it is a bit different. Im cooking with music on, my husband is trying to entertain our screaming son, who is tired by then and Eva loudly talking and laughing while practicing her disco moves. And you know what? As crazy nuts house it sounds during this time, it is also so much fun and I love having this tradition back! Have you guys started doing anything new or perhaps revived some old traditions in your households? See more

01.01.2022 Its been a while since my last post. Not entirely intentional, but I needed time to think. For the past few months I was trying to start up another project. And I did, 4 times ! Every time I was starting up, I felt that it was not the right way, not perfect enough, not how I imagined it to be ! So I would cancel everything. And start again...... After starting last time I realised that I hit a creative mental block and was not even able to think properly anymore. And of course after all those tries my first instinct was- it’s not for me. Thanks to a dearest friend of mine, I got a clearer picture of what is happening. I was putting so much pressure on myself to succeeded and succeed immediately, that I was dropping everything when it was not going to a plan and starting again. Plus some other things. And after a few times my brain just exhausted itself with thoughts and creativity. The advice I got, relax, do nothing, read a book. I have always loved reading, but for a year or so now, I did not. In the past, somehow I always knew what book to read to help me in particular period in life and I just could not find the one, so I stopped reading. Let me tell you, doing nothing is so hard! But I am trying ! I chose a book and it really does help to start thinking again and getting those ideas to come up. I am restraining myself not to rush into doing, but truly take a break to fully recharge my creativity and even to reinvent myself. I was rethinking this post so many times in my head and it is still a bit chaotic. But I am writing it anyway as it is the best I can do for now and I just have to accept it. Have you been in situations like this? What helped you? Would love to hear more advices and try them to snap out of this quickly. See more

01.01.2022 How does it work? I have been getting quite a few enquiries asking about order process, process and all that Jazz. Here is how you can order your personalised mug ... 1 You have an idea of what decor you would like on a mug. Send me a DM, email, call or whats app me . All the details are available in the link in bio. Describe what you would like or show the picture. I will ask you a few questions to get to know you or a person the mug is for. This really helps with decore idea, colour pallet and style to be as close to the personality as possible. Then I get creative! And show you the result in a week. If you are happy with final product you then you pay and mug is posted to you in a gift box . But what if the final decor does not speak to you? That happens, and that is ok! I will get further information from you and will either try to adjust or make a whole new one ! In the image above is what I have created originally when receiving a request for a lion. Artist i.e. me clearly had a different vision . And after discussing decor details further we have a winner (second image in carousel) All custom made decors are AUD $49.99 2 I have all available mugs and existing decors available for viewing and purchase in my Etsy store.
