21.01.2022 Whilst the rides are not screaming away, and the fireworks are not filling the night sky, we will ensure we keep up some traditional Ekka values. This weekend we have strawberries that will make your mouth water and will take your taste buds on a trip they will need a passport for. We have it all this weekend and we are open as normal Friday 6am to 7pm so you won’t have to miss out on anything else this year.

21.01.2022 Customers! Our local home delivery service and pick and collect orders will resume tomorrow (Tuesday 14th April) In order to offer the most effective service, the NEW order submission cut off time will be 10PM the previous night. So for delivery tomorrow your order must be in by 10pm tonight! Make sure your order is sent through as a Facebook message in dot point format, with your full name, phone number and address. Thank you!

19.01.2022 A reminder that for home delivery tomorrow ALL orders MUST be in by 10pm tonight in order for us to offer an efficient service to our customers. Any orders after 10pm will automatically be delivered Friday and there are no deliveries over the weekend. We hope that all of our community is staying safe at this time.

17.01.2022 Our flower girls have done it again... WOW ! What a selection of special flowers and balloons for Mum on this Mother’s Day that many of us will not forget. It’s time to tell Mum how much you love her and you can all be assured that the flowers your Mum will get this year, from Clayfield Markets Fresh are of the highest quality, with the arrangements made on site, by our amazingly talented florists. Well done girls and a happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing Mums out there and to the Mums that we have on staff that will be working hard today- a special Mother’s Day to you and thanks for all of your hard work. (Please remember Social distancing still applies in store and especially around the flower area so please stay patient and maintain a safe distance from other shoppers.)

16.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, We would just like to announce that with the easing of some Covid-19 restrictions we will be scaling back our Home Delivery service to 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday Please have your orders submitted by 10pm the night before and please share this with anyone that might need to know. 13.01.2022 Due to the current climate we will be opening Anzac Day from 6am to 7pm. This decision is to ensure someone in our community is open and that there is not a need to rush out & panic buy on Friday which could undo all the good work that the store has shown with social distancing measures. We have a small private staff remembrance in place which we have done for the past 29 years and we are humbled to be a part of this. We will have security in place and a free trolley and han...d sanitiser station operating. Whilst most feel this pandemic is under control our government law has not changed from a few weeks ago so it’s important to respect this. See more

05.01.2022 To our valued and supportive customers, We have news to share. After 29 wonderful years we have come to the end of our journey owning Clayfield Markets Fresh. In exciting news, we have sold our beloved store to Harris Farms Markets. While this has been a decision made with a heavy heart (as this has been our life for all these years),... We also realise that the time is right for us to pass on this wonderful store to a group that will love it as much as we do. Please be rest assured that Harris Farms are well informed of our tradition and values that have been created over the many years in servicing the wider Brisbane community. They share our values and our commitment to you and to our suppliers. And they will create a vibrant new store and a new creative concept of fresh food shopping. AND, we are staying on with Harris Farms to assist with the transition and be a part of the new way forward! It’s an exciting time for everyone. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you for all for all your support over the many years. To everyone who believed in us and trusted us to bring the freshest and best fresh food possible, and to the hundreds of amazing staff members that over these years become our family thank you all. It has been a privilege to serve you over these 29 years, to create so many memories, and so many friendships. You all feel like family.
