25.01.2022 Happy Valentines Day

25.01.2022 This hearing aid was found in front of the Hervey Bay surf club on the week end. After much detective work I have finally tracked who owns it but she maybe here on holidays from Dunedin in NZ. Her name is Lynette Owens. This aid is worth a significant amount of money so I would really like to get it back to asap.

15.01.2022 A really good reason why you should give an independent clinic a go. Its a sad state of affairs when the government owned provider is treating its client this way. At Clayton Hearing we charge no fees at all. Never have. Never will.

13.01.2022 This is a new product called Forcefield. It is state of the art nanotechnology that creates a physical barrier (not poison) to control bacteria and viruses. It gives 12 months protection on all surfaces it touches. The active ingredients bind to any surface creating a nano-film with thousands of spikes that penetrate the cell walls of virus such as coronavirus and the common flu virus. Any bacteria or virus cannot survive now in our clinic for the next 12 months. This product reduces the need for constant disinfecting after each customer leaves.

09.01.2022 Wearing a mask is even more challenging for people who are hard of hearing and rely on vital cues by watching peoples lips and facial expressions. To help and show consideration, try using hands to communicate and maybe even write short messages. #Covid-19 #WidexCare

04.01.2022 A big thank you to every one who share our post. Lyn came in this morning to collect her lost aid. Id like to especially thank Camilla from Resound Australia for the work she did behind the scene to track Lyn down. This was Lyns first trip to Australia. She comes from a small town of 480 people outside of Dunedin. Shell be heading home next week with some great memories of Hervey Bay and Australia. Also a big thanks to local councillor Darren Everard and also to Dr Lewis Gray who graciously offered to deliver the aid back to Lyn at her home if she had already left. Turns out Dr Gray was Lyns GP sometime back when he practiced in NZ.
