13.01.2022 So, how does Accell Clean break apart COVID-19... Soap, is common phrase for what chemists call amphiphiles. These are molecules that have a dual nature. One end of the molecule is attracted to water and repelled by fats and proteins. The other side of the molecule is attracted to fats and is repelled by water. So if you pour oil into water. The oil pools up in a blob that floats. Because fats don’t mix with water. mix some soap into the oil and water and the oil will dispe...rse. Basically, that happens because the soap is attracted to the grease, via its fat-loving side, but then tears it up, pulling it into the water via its water-loving side. Surround the oil particles and move them away from one another. Coronaviruses are a bit like the oil mentioned in the above example: bits of genetic information (encoded by RNA) surrounded by a coat of fat and protein. 10.01.2022 Question: How long will I be protected after using Alcohol sanitiser? Most are not aware that alcohol sanitisers will work on your hands for around 2 minutes. That is of course if you have rubbed enough product (5ml/a teaspoon) for around 30 seconds (ever timed it?).... So knowing that, a 100ml bottle should last you - - - around a day. Assuming you sanitise once every 30 minutes, with 2 minutes of protection each time. Just one of the little known facts.
