Oftentimes the s...mallest gesture can mean the most, and that's why we are introducing our very own 'Pay It Forward with a Coffee' initiative in all our bakeries as a practical & delicious thank you for our frontline workers. You can either buy an extra coffee and put the coffee card on the board for them, or purchase a coffee voucher that you can take with you to hand out directly. 24.01.2022 HELLO EVERYONE For those of you that don’t know already, I’m Peytn and I will be your new coffee lady Quick background on me: I have worked as a bari...sta for the last few years where I have developed a massive passion for coffee! I have a little labrador puppy and a fiancé that can’t wait to help me set up for markets on weekends I have dreamt of having my own business and i LOVE all things coffee, so this new venture is super exciting for me! I will be continuing Ebony’s daily run of a weekday, but don’t hesitate to contact me (0423371013) and I will definitely do what I can to fit everyone in! For all those tradies and workers starting early, I will be down at Apex Park where there is plenty of room to park, from 5:30am - 7:30am so be sure to come down and say hello! 23.01.2022 G'Day All, We just want to provide an update how our ball drop lottery will work. Donations will close at midday on Friday, 13 November. ... On Saturday 14 November, everyone who has made a $20 donation will go in our electronic ball drop lottery, which will be overseen by independent auditor Aldous & Hill, and 1500 lucky donors will randomly be selected. Those 1500 donors will be contacted and allocated a unique numbered ball for our helicopter ball drop lottery and all unsuccessful donors will be notified. At 1:00pm on Saturday 21 November at the Benalla Showgrounds , a helicopter will drop 1500 unique numbered balls and the ball which lands closest to the target will win the $10,000 shopping spree. Due to COVID-19, our original plan of dropping 6000 balls from the helicopter and inviting a large crowd to attend the event was cancelled. However, the ball drop will be live-streamed, so everyone can watch from the comfort of their home. We want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful donors. We could not have done this without you! So far, we have raised more than $126k and we aren't done yet! I’m from a small town called Mansfield and the Albury-Wodonga Cancer Cen...tre is closest for anyone living in our area who needs treatment. When it comes to cancer treatment and support, local centres play a critical role, particularly in the country. Some mates of mine are raising money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre which treats 300 cancer patients a day. Being able to access treatment and support without having to travel to a major city makes a huge difference. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, it affects us all. We all know someone who has been diagnosed. My mates have raised nearly $100,000 in a matter of weeks, but aren’t done yet. For every $20 donated you get a chance at the $10,000 major prize.
