24.01.2022 My local to Emerald friends will know exactly what I'm so excited about but... I totally did just wash my car... in the rain... with nothing but rain water and my Norwex car wash Mitt!!! You might think I'm a little crazy for going out and washing my car in the rain but it has just been so dry here in Emerald. The grass dried out and turned brown, then disintegrated and turned to dirt. There was dust everywhere. My poor car was neglected because it would only stay clean a cou...ple of hours before it was covered in dust again, which of course is not great for darker coloured cars. It seems that the rain that was few and far between here only actually came whenever we were away, anywhere else except here to enjoy it when it finally did fall. This was true to form just a week and a half ago when Emerald had a decent down pour. We were of course in Ipswich... which also got LOTS of rain... camping... in a tent... at a music festival (see how that progressively got worse there!?). Anyway so in the last week we have seen the ground soak up the water and settle the dust, green start to spread across the dirt-even if it is just weeds! And finally tonight we are getting some more which I am enjoying from inside a house!! And it is a beautiful temperature, it's so therapeutic to feel the cool drops on our skin and soaking your clothes! So why not make the most of it and get out there like we did as kids and give my car some much needed love. AND test out the full capacity of my Norwex car Mitt to clean the car with NO chemicals! I have to say, it is dark and hard to thoroughly inspect but looks pretty good to me! And a hell of a lot better than it was!

20.01.2022 Can you guys see that? This is my daughter fish tank she got for her birthday about 15 months ago, we have had fish in there the whole time so it's never been emptied and fully cleaned. We usually have a snail and sucker fish as our cleaning crew and my weekly partial water changes and filter clean seem to do the trick. Anyway a few weeks ago our sucker died and its starting to show that I haven't replaced it yet. So while it was half empty during today's clean I gave the inside a wipe over with my Enviro cloth above the water line! The difference has totally wowed me. But now I want to wipe all the rest over! Its killing me! Ha ha

I used to be a huge steam mop fan when I became a Norwex consultant. In my first few weeks I earned a mop for free. I wasn't keen to use it because I loved my steam mop but thought "a customer may one day ask me about this product so I better try it". My steam mop was up for sale on buy swap and sell the n...ext week and I never looked back. What converted me? I was surprised how light it was compared to my heavy steam mop. I didnt have to worry about refilling the water reservoir or swap power points half way through, the wide mop pad which covered a bigger area than my steam mop did which meant the job was done quicker AND it did just as good of a job without any streaky marks on our floors which my steam mop left behind. I was impressed!!!

03.01.2022 Just a little personal not related at all to Norwex update from the envirocloth and the fish tank post I did recently... everyone, meet "Nightmare Moon"- our new sucker fish who was loving picked and named by my daughter Amelia. Well you cant actually meet him/her because she is taking a little well earned rest under the log after eating her weight in algie and completely cleaning the tank spotless in just 48 hours!!! (See before and after pictures) Some animals just com...pletely amaze me sometimes, this sucker is tiny and watching it transform the space before my eyes was incredible. It also is a reminder that sometimes we dont need complicated or expensive cleaning products, chemicals or routines and that sometimes the most efficient solution is completely natural and perfectly safe for the environment. You just need to look for the right answer! Wow, maybe this is a little Norwex (and its values) related after all
