11.01.2022 Today. As you can see the bigger particle counts are up by a big margin (the 5 and 10 micron readings). That’s just means today is worse than yesterday. For those that are asking, the EPA calculate air quality based on the 2.5 micron reading. From the way I understand the EPA guidelines, this is well into the hazardous range.

04.01.2022 To help people understand the local (Sunbury) air quality, I’m going to take air readings in my driveway over the next few days. This is my particle meter and it’s one of the toys I use in cleaning and restoration. This is this morning’s reading and it’s the 0.3um (0.3 micron) reading that I’m paying attention to.... On a clear still day, I could expect the 0.3 reading to be under 5000. As you can see, we are nowhere near that today.
