25.01.2022 Good Morning, It's been a few days between posts as it has been a very productive and busy week. I will check in tomorrow with a hello and an update so watch this space!

25.01.2022 It was chaos in our house this morning! Despite cleaning the house for an inspection, the last minute tidy up was on. Instructions were plentiful and my teenage boys did not know what had hit them! 24.01.2022 Good Morning. Welcome to a brand new shiny week! Do you want to know the secret to a clean, tidy & organised home? Clean as you go! 1) Sit down with a cuppa and brainstorm those areas that are your bugbear.... 2) Focus on the high traffic areas such as kitchen and bathroom. 3) When you are in either room and you see something that needs cleaning/putting away, take a few minutes and complete one small task at a time. For example if cooking in the kitchen and you see a window needs a wipe down, do this in between cooking or if your shower needs a clean, do it whilst you're in the shower ensuring you keep cleaning products in there - simples! 4) If you have children, enlist them to pick things up off the floor and put them away instead of walking around them. You can teach them from a very young age or from an older age for that matter. Of course a few reminders here and there may be required but it is worth the effort! Children thrive on responsibility even if they do whinge! 5) Hang your shirts and tee shirts on the washing line on coathangers. This saves so much double handling and folding time. If you have children old enough, task it to them to put their shirts away straight from the washing line into their wardrobes. At the end of the day, being organized is about having more time for yourself and enabling you to live a balanced life. It makes you feel happier, relaxed and in control. So ... blinkers off and put your clean mode on! 22.01.2022 I had one of "those" moments this morning ... I opened a drawer in my bathroom and thought I just have to clean this out - now! 5 minutes later and it was done and dusted. Start small, tidy and declutter as you go when time permits. Break the task down and chip away at it. Do it in the moment when you feel energised. 22.01.2022 One of my favourite things is having a clean and organised fridge. Simply having a system in your fridge that works saves time and money. There is nothing more frustrating than an out of control fridge and not knowing what is there! My tip is to tidy your fridge every few days, regroup, stay calm and carry on!!

Focus on:- Entryway including those untidy shoes - 5 mins Kitchen - dishes in the sink/wipe surface/rubbish out - 20 mins Bathroom - items on the counter and wipe surface - 15 mins... As I was racing out the door to cricket this morning with my 2 son's, I remembered back to when I was young and getting ready to go to school. I was one of 5 children and whilst it was busy, it was nowhere near as rushed or pressured as it is today. Slowing down is essential on so many levels When you are feeling flustered or stressed, give yourself permission to S-L-O-W down or S-T-O-P. Take a breather, have a c...uppa, sit outside in the sun for 10 minutes and get some essential Vitamin D, regroup, have a rest if that's what your body is screaming out for. Listen to it as it will always tell you what it needs. There is only one of you and sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that.
