25.01.2022 I want to share a trick with you which we learnt from another wedding vendor! LEFT = FOUR LETTERS RIGHT = FIVE LETTERS... FORK = FOUR LETTERS KNIFE = FIVE LETTERS SPOON = FIVE LETTERS Your silverware with four letters ie. 'fork', goes on the LEFT. Silverware with five letters ie. 'knife' and 'spoon', goes on the RIGHT. How simple is that? ..you're welcome!

Whilst it's absolutely ripping our heart out to know that so many of our neighbours have lost their homes, their lives, their livestock or are still in danger of all of the above, we can't help but be moved by the way the rest of the ENTIRE WORLD have come together for a nation in need.... "Still we rise". Our hearts are with the entire country.

10.01.2022 Did you know that Mount Taranaki's original ingoa (name) is 'Pukehaupapa', or 'Pukeonaki'? Those names are hardly ever heard anymore, with most Mori just stoked that it's been changed from 'Egmont' to 'Taranaki'. We're honouring Te Khui Maunga iwi with this design.... Te Khui Maunga are the earliest known iwi of Taranaki, who gave Pukehaupapa his name. *We're only in design phase at the moment guys. Our second lockdown here in Melbourne has changed the way we work at the moment and, also, our suppliers. We'll keep you updated when things change!*

05.01.2022 Serving boards getting a little smelly? For some reason, ours always starts to smell like onions?? Here's a tip!: White vinegar. I use a mixture of white vinegar, a yummy smelling dish soap, and a little water, to clean.. like.. everything.... Mixed together in a repurposed spray bottle, I give my serving boards and chopping boards a good spray after they've been washed, in hot soapy water, and then leave them to drip dry. Smells be gone! *In the spirit of full transparency.. vinegar can be considered 'abrasive'.. but I've never lost any of our beautiful serving boards to vinegar.

01.01.2022 When you ask your client for their wedding colours and they provide you with PERFECTION! Weddings can be a nightmare to plan but, with the right team, it can be a really beautiful experience. That’s why I want to share 3 quick tips to planning an easy breezy wedding! Step 1: Recruit a SOLID team. Some may call them the 'Bridal Party', we call them the 'A Team'. A bit of 'team building' activities, a.k.a 'Sunday Sippers' will also strengthen a team like nothing else!... Step 2: Pinterest. Anyone planning a wedding knows about this absolute gem! Create a board to accurately share your vision with your A Team.. and pin a bunch of craft projects you'll never actually do. Step 3: BUDGET! Ain't nothing hurt like an out of control budget with a million and one bills to be paid two weeks before the big day! Keep a list of EVERY.SINGLE.THING and what you'll pay for each one BEFORE you go ahead and book or order anything. Hoping this helps you on. Anything I could help answer for you?

01.01.2022 All this craziness has forced us to find the positives (as hard as they may be to find some days) and allowed us to work on some new products and create a new website that we're really proud of! Erin's been working on some really cool designs for our Mori whnau over the past couple of months.
