19.01.2022 If its time for a clean up.. some little tips for you. I post this a lot but it still rings true. 1. A hoarders trick is to have lots of the same item all over the house - I am a stationery and pen fiend so these items should all be kept together to see how much I have. What are these items for you? Books, towels, gift bags, toiletries? Get them all together. Like with like. 2. If you don't have an immediate reaction to an item - think. Just because you loved it once, wore ...it often or lived with it forever does not mean you have to keep it. 3. As you start have a rubbish bag, and a donate bag. Remember that the donate items should be in good condition that someone in a second hand shop would spend money on. Most items in these shops are for the general consumer. If it is going to a charity such as Dandelion Support Network where I volunteer, these items are a gift for the recipients. Be mindful that you wouldn’t want stained, old or broken items. They belong in the bin. 4. Put on fun music, not nostalgic as you clean, Music that gets you ready to give things you don’t need away! 5. There’s no need to have a story for every item that you have... I got this lunchbox when I started my first job or my son loved this tipper truck 10 years ago many items in our lives were important at the time, it’s ok that now they don’t need to be kept. 6. Another thing to consider. Think about what actually comes into your house. Do you need the item you are considering buying? If you purchase it will you be buying it and adding to what your have or letting go of something else? I would love to hear what you feel are successful tips. Alternatively let us know about what hasn’t worked before! I am now taking bookings for TERM TWO. After the April holidays so contact me now to get in the diary 0409 719 510

17.01.2022 Sorting things to make sense. Cake tins and Baking items up high as rarely used. Mixing bowls, sieves, hand held whisk in low drawer. Frypans in easy to reach drawer with some small tubs to house egg cooking implements, measuring cups and spoons used while cooking dinner. #likewithlike

11.01.2022 What is something you have found whole cleaning out? Something you have been looking for? Today we found a stack of home reader books from school, a notebook with lots of important information, a set of walk-in talkies to use when at a large property on holidays, and an iPad charger for an older model.

04.01.2022 How’s your linen cupboard organisation? How do you store things? There’s so many variations I would love to see!

02.01.2022 Aaaah The Utensil drawer.... today in this kitchen I pulled it all out, sorted it into like with like - always do this. We then went through each bundle and got rid of a quarter of the drawer. Salad servers no one liked, old cooking spoons, doubles or triples of the same thing. But tongs, we kept those as they are used often. We put some extra sets outside in the bbq area. #kitchengoals
