Every second Facebook post and email I open is about being the best version of yourself, setting goals and making 2019 your year. Setting goals is a great exercise in lots of ways and one part that is often overlooked in our quest to reach the end point is what happens along the way.... What we will and won't do in our quest to achieve, the beliefs we uncover about ourselves that hold us back or drive us forward and our ability to dig deep into our internal resources and go again if we fall short. No matter what the outcome of your goal setting you get to learn about yourself along the way and become aware of strengths that you can carry and use in other parts of your life when you're challenged. 19.01.2022 While I was standing in my room this morning two honey eaters were playing outside the window, the sun was streaming in, the sky was clear and blue ahh nice I thought. When I looked away then looked back again I noticed how dirty my windows were, and despite the beautiful scene outside I found it hard not to focus on the window tainting my view. Life is full of beauty and full of distractions. WHAT DO YOU FOCUS ON? Get a clear view, it's your choice. Anyway I cleaned my window.

13.01.2022 Ahhh how's the change in the weather over the past week? It always amazes me how when one thing changes so many other things change as a result. Sunshine = more people smiling. However to make change for ourselves it is usually a case of moving away from things that we think will cause us pain. A physical example of this is putting up with tight shoes until our feet are blistered and sore, then we change something.... The same is also true for things like stress, anxiety and even some beliefs we can hold. To change something we need to take action. No action = no change.
