25.01.2022 End of Financial Year - Landlord Statements. I have just completed the EOFY for my landlords and send off their statements. I have been using Console Cloud now for twelve months and have found it to be a dream come true (my auditor may not have the same opinion. Time will tell). If you have any of your properties through another agency and they charge you for sending an EOFY statement, ask them why ? It took me under 30 seconds to send them all off. Apparently it is common practice to charge for EOFY statements and also a fee for renewing an existing lease (with the same tenant in place) on top of the Lease Preparation Fee. We only charge the Lease Preparation Fee, NOT a re let fee (called by other names to disguise the fee). This can save you many hundreds of dollars per year.

05.01.2022 Its a bit wet to show properties today but I had a lot of inspections booked for a viewing at Quaama. This garden was partially damaged by the bushfires but it is so nice to see the garden coming back to life. The variegated daphne was the highlight for me, plus the other daphne in full flower. The perfume was subtle and magical. The garden has an amazing amount of violets, purple and white ones in large clumps.
