07.01.2022 AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN’S MUSIC FOUNDATION (ACMF Awareness Gig) This Friday @ 7.30 PM tune in for a special night talking and playing everything ACMF. Everyone who... knows me well knows how passionate I am about this foundation founded by Don Spencer OAM, that brings music to so many kids who would never have had the opportunity. It’s very alive in our valley here. Right about now we would have been gearing up for a big School Spectacular Fundraiser that was going to be held on the new Rotary River Stage. Obviously with all that’s going on it’s been postponed. Hope you can tune in to learn a little bit more about what it’s all about, sit in with your kids or just take some time and have some fun. #australianchildrensmusicfoundation Australian Children's Music Foundation - ACMF #bobthekelpie #donspencer #childrensmusic #aussiekids #musicforlife #holdontoyourdreams #mentalhealth #musichealsthesoul See more

01.01.2022 Past president Ross Tingle congratulates David Denning on his induction as the 84th president of the Rotary Club of Taree. Club members praised president Ross who led the club brilliantly in an exceptionally difficult year - confronted with drought, bushfire and Covid-19. Over $40,000 has been donated to the local community during his year. The club also gained 11 new members and was heavily involved with other Rotary clubs and Lions in raising over $350,000 for local bushfir...e relief, which has been distributed. Recently the club has built bookshelves in the Bobin school library, and donated a large community BBQ to the school along with seating. An outdoor all-weather table tennis table is also on the way. President Ross said the club has achieved an enormous amount during the last Rotary year but is very much looking forward to returning to a normal meeting format at Club Taree after months of Zoom meetings.
