24.01.2022 Thursdays are the new Fridays! With event bookings now packing out our Friday afternoons in the studio space we’ve moved our discounted drop-in coworking day to Thursday. $15 gets you a full day in either coworking space. Thursday is also bbq day, so BYO meat or vego sausages! Knock off a bit of work before the end of the week and have an early start to the weekend on Friday! Seeya there

16.01.2022 Thats a wrap Thank you all for making The Cleaver Street Coffee Shop what it was! Thank you for the stories, the memories and the good times. Thank you to the neighbors, loyal customers and friends for supporting us. We love you and well see you again in the near future. Thank you to @drewalxandra @jolaste @sebeglington @elstewo @alligator_skin @miller_chaching @jamesgiddy @jaideneast @anoushkamusic @makmili_ . You each brought a unique personality to the shop and Im so... grateful we got to share the days we did making coffees for the street. Couldnt have asked for better bunch of crew. Thanks for all the laughs and moments we shared inside that little coffee shop. That street really had some great characters and Im glad you guys were there to share it. As many of you already knew we only ever had a 5 year lease for the coffee shop. The owners of the deli were looking to develop, so we took what we could get without any additional options in the lease. The lease was ending in June this year. We were looking to finish up in June but with the current circumstances weve decided to wrap it up and start working on projects that have been simmering in the background waiting for us to have more time available. Our goal was to have Cleaver Street Studio self sustainable by the time the lease ran out on the coffee shop. So we have achieved this goal and are excited for the upcoming projects. We are currently also submitting to council to open another coffee shop on Cleaver Street in the next 18 months. We will keep you in the loop. Wed also started working on a monthly arts and music event at the studio for the local community. This will be our primary focus when the dust settles. Bring people back together and celebrate all that is good in the world. Take care of each other. Breathe. Everything will be fine. Health comes first. Tell your family and friends you love them and well see you on the other side for a couple of beers down at the studio. 12.01.2022 Excited to announce our little community and local arts social enterprise is growing! Thank you all for your support and choosing our venue for you special events or just letting people know about our space. Weve just leased an additional 140sqm across the road as an extension to Cleaver Street Studio, which well be renovating over the next few weeks. There will be a stylish mid century inspired 40sqm meeting room for hire. A great mixed use space for workshops, meet ups, movie screenings etc for up to 20 people. The space will also provide additional coworking and (much requested) permanent desk spaces, along with a podcast room. Keep an eye out for updates in our stories. Weve been working to get our exisiting event bookings affected by current restrictions to new dates that work for everyone later in the year and coworking is now operating in a reduced capacity to accomodate everyone staying healthy and working from home.
