23.01.2022 Free Short-Term Liquor Licence (Takeaway Sales) As of Thursday 26 March 2020, all licensed cafes, restaurants, small bars and local clubs (including on-premises licensees) can apply for a free short-term liquor licence in order to be able to sell takeaway liquor. Licensees will be able to sell up to two bottles of wine or one bottle of wine and a six pack of beer, cider or pre-mixed spirits, and will require the same stringent responsible service requirements already imposed ...on takeaway liquor. In addition, licensed clubs will be able to sell any liquor for takeaway to club members. The sale of takeaway liquor to non-club members (i.e. the general public) purchasing a takeaway meal is also permitted but this will be limited to two bottles of wine or one bottle of wine and a six pack of beer, cider or pre-mixed spirits. These measures will be in place for the same period that the Emergency Management Act and Public Health Acts are being utilised in this unprecedented pandemic. 05.01.2022 This August, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is challenging all Australians to come together to Step Up to Breast Cancer and raise funds in support of the thousands of women and men whose lives have been - and will be - impacted by breast cancer. We are so proud of our team members Ruby Guidera and Kayla Alexandrou who have stepped up to the challenge. Not only are they exceeding the proposed 10,000 steps a day, they are increasing their daily step count by 1,000 steps for every $50 raised. So far they have already raised $638 towards this great cause. GO GIRLS!
