25.01.2022 There’s nothing more important for kids than a healthy (and yummy) transition to food! This little cutie sure is pretty laid back about it. As September is Organic Awareness Month, I thought I’d share some love for our fellow sponsor Bellamy's Organic who make certified organic baby food and formula. When my kids were little, I did my best to give them foods that were made from scratch or puréed by me, however this wasn’t always possible (as I’m sure we can all relate) . We use Australian natives such as Kakadu Plum and Finger Lime as key ingredients in our products due to their incredible benefits for the skin. 23.01.2022 In Australia, it’s estimated 20-40% of all fruit and vegetables are rejected from sale due to appearance quality standards. This is usually because they look a little weird, misshapen or discoloured - also know as ‘wonky’ produce. The problem has become so bad in Australia that around 1 in every 3 bananas goes to waste due to cosmetic flaws! (It’s bananas!) We thought, with September being Organic Awareness Month, we’d give you some tips on how to stop contributing t...o this mass overproduction and waste! Buy locally, at either growers markets where produce is sold direct from farmer to consumer, or at local food co-ops. This often also eliminates the need for plastic packaging too! Look out for sections in bigger supermarkets that offer ‘wonky’ produce. In Woolworths this is called ‘The Odd Bunch’ section and ‘Imperfect Picks’ in Harris Farm. Grow your own! A good place to start is with simple herbs like basil and parsley, and vine loving plants like tomatoes and beans. Image via Pinterest.

04.01.2022 Yesterday I was fortunate enough to experience the most luxurious facial at Lightworks Blackheath - using my own products! Karralla, the incredible beauty therapist, transported me to a world of peace and relaxation that I didn’t know I needed. I stopped having facials many years ago as I found myself breaking out from the products they used. Karralla was actually the first person to have applied my own products to my face!
