24.01.2022 Clergy members are invited to our 2019 National Conference in Melbourne. Monday 8 July to Friday 12 July, 2019. http://www.clergy.asn.au/conference/ This year's conference addresses a number of pressing issues, including anti-discrimination laws (Patrick Byrne); the pastoral care of the dying and bereaved in light of state-sponsored euthanasia (Dr Colin Patterson); evangelising Catholic school families (Dr Gerard O'Shea); and the sacramental seal of confession (Fr Julian Wellspring). Our public lecture this year will be given by Monica Doumit, who will speak on Religious Freedom.

23.01.2022 We have a new membership form live now on our website! Over the last few months we have had issues with our form-building software but these have now been resolved! Thanks to all our members who have patiently navigated this issue. Perhaps you would like to become a member of the ACCC today?... https://www.clergy.asn.au/membership/

17.01.2022 We have published a media release at the conclusion of our Perpetual Adoration for Holy Week initiative. An incredible 58 priests participated over the eight days! Though you may not be able to attend Holy Mass or access the Sacraments, your priests have not forgotten you! Read the Media Release here: http://www.clergy.asn.au//Adoration-Media-Release-14-4-20.

15.01.2022 Our parish is participating in Partners in Prayer, an initiative that matches parishes around Australia with Victorian Parishes that are currently back in lockd...own, unable to celebrate Mass or the Sacraments. We are partnered with St Catherine of Siena Parish, Caroline Springs. Caroline Springs is in west Melbourne and is subject to Level 4 lockdown, which means parishioners cannot leave their homes except under very limited circumstances. Please pray for the parishioners of St Catherine of Siena Parish, especially during weekday adoration (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and after receiving Communion at Mass. Prayer cards are available at church, or you can download the prayer card from our Facebook page. Almighty Father, You are our constant companion as we confront the uncertainty of COVID-19. May your comforting hand come upon Victoria as they fight local outbreaks of the pandemic. May your strength and love be upon the parishioners of St Catherine of Siena Parish, especially as they are unable to participate in the Eucharist. Comfort those who are struggling with isolation. Protect their health. Prevent the continued spread of disease. Help us appreciate all you have given us. And help us surrender to your will. Amen. St Mary, pray for us. St Joseph, pray for us. St Catherine of Siena, pray for us.

12.01.2022 Check out this week's edition of The Catholic Weekly, which features an opinion piece from our Secretary, Father Marcus Goulding, regarding the discrimination churches are facing in Victoria.

10.01.2022 The Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy is proud to launch "Partners in Prayer", an initiative rallying parishes outside Victoria in support of Victorian parishes in lockdown. Ask your priest to nominate your parish as a Partner in Prayer today. https://www.clergy.asn.au/partners-in-prayer/

09.01.2022 The Victorian government's 'Roadmap' out of lockdown treats places of worship as a higher health risk than other sectors of society for no apparent reason. Can you sign this petition and circulate it to your friends? http://www.equalityforfaith.com.au/

05.01.2022 Archbishop Comensoli writes: "This is not a celebration of good healthcare, but a sad story of the loss of hope and care for vulnerable people. Despite assurances that VAD [euthanasia] numbers would not increase significantly in its early years, the numbers presented in the report [124 in twelve months] are alarming. Comparatively, it took the State of Oregon in the United States 17 years to reach the same number of deaths that Victoria has reached in its first 12 months of VAD. On the one hand, our nation is making sacrifices to protect people from the Coronavirus pandemic while on the other, this report is encouraging greater access to assisted suicide. This contradiction is baffling."

05.01.2022 Any Australian priests who are not on the ACCC mailing list and would like to be part of this initiative, please private message.

05.01.2022 Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller concludes his presentation to the ACCC National Conference with a paper on the priest: the loving heart of Christ.

01.01.2022 Packed house for Cardinal Müller‘s public address: Synodality in service of the unity of the Church.
