24.01.2022 Wanting somewhere to go for a good night with room to move and make it an active event. Why not try a game of bowls at the Clermont bowls club. They are open to functions for all events. With Christmas coming up treat yourself and staff to an afternoon or night time game of bowls and social gathering. All facilities available and local bowls club members on hand ready to help out. 23.01.2022 What a weekend of great bowls, friendly rivalry, and good sportsmanship at the 2019 zone champion of champions held in Emerald over the weekend. Leichhardt dis...trict took on the Mackay district to show the strong competition we have on the central highlands. Winners and runners up pictures to follow. Thank you to the Emerald bowls club for hosting the event, the lovely ladies Jo and Rose in the kitchen and Greg and Lorraine Baker who were markers for the singles games. The men who worked on the green kept it to a standard suitable for the zones. Well done fellars you did a great job. See more

19.01.2022 Another great carnival at the Clermont bowls club. Clubs from Mackay Townsville, Emerald, Moranbah, Rockhampton down to south east qld participated on the weekend. A great time was had by all. Thanks everyone for your support on our big day. I will post winners photos soon.

18.01.2022 Wow, what a group of men. This is what great clubs are made of. These men gave up their weekend to work on the greens for us all to enjoy. They are real champions. Thank you Wayne Cox, Barry Baldwin, Owen Baldwin, Snow Munster and Eddie Storer for the great work on the greens. Thank you.

15.01.2022 Well done Clermont mens pennants side for participation in the district pennants. It has been a long time since Clermont could put together a mens side so was great to see you there competing. These 3 Clermont teams ranged from beginners through to experienced players. All players played well and did our little club proud. Thanks too all who competed. Hope to see you back next time

14.01.2022 Some of the action on the green at the mens fours and pairs champion of champion events at the Clermont bowls club. Winners of the mens fours will play on Clermont this coming Saturday for champion of champion for the district. The champion of champion pairs will be played in emerald next weekend. We wish everyone good luck and looking forward to watching the games. The women are not to be out done with the ladies playing in the pairs coming soon.

Arthur Sami Memorial Open Barefoot Bowls Handicap Competition. Arthur is a past life member of SBC contributing enormously to the clubs past success for decades. There will be loads of prizes and we are seeking all public adult / youth / combined teams of 4 people FREE TO PLAY (LIMITED PLACES available 1st in basis). Teams must preregister interest by close of nominations on 2nd October 5pm by contacting Peter 0422 926 959. Everyone welcome to attend the event and enjoy the Gala BBQ Smorgasbord lunch $20, soft drinks, bar service available - open to the public all day from 10:00am (membership requirement only $5). Come to socialise and watch or play against Leichhardt District bowling representatives in a fun-filled 5 hours of bowls where the advantage swings in your favour. Barefoot play OK. Dress = outrageous & flamboyant welcome!! Prizes for best dressed teams and individuals. 2 x $50 MEMBERS DRAWS between 10:00am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-3:30pm (must claim within 3 minutes. 12.01.2022 EDGAR HARVEY MEMORIAL DAY Many gathered today to remember a special person who was dear to many people. Shirley Harvey each year organises a great day at the bowls club to remember her loving husband Edgar. Many who knew Edgar knew that apart from his family his second live was bowls. He spent many hours playing and when not playing then working on the green so what better way to remember him than a game of bowls.

11.01.2022 We are not all as keen as this fellar but we all enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends. Come on down to the bowls club this afternoon for a game of bowls or just a relaxing time. Too shy to come by yourself, grab your partner, or a group of friends and come enjoy the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you. Young and old are all welcome. Not sure on what to do? Eddie will be there and guide you in the right direction. Starts at 1pm
