25.01.2022 Xmas is 6 weeks away. We know, you don't want to be thinking about it yet, but it will be here before you know it. We are full of Christmas decorations, chocolates, puddings etc but because of the world situation, and supplier issues from that, there will not be a chance to get more stock once we run out. So, the message is get it while you can. We have plenty of lines on special and a lot of catalogue activity in the next few weeks. Hams and Turkey rolls are all in stock from next week. Also, by shopping locally you can win $1000 in our Look Local campaign, or $2000 in our Radio 5CC Xmas promotion. Plenty of good reasons to visit us at the Cleve Foodland.

20.01.2022 Foodland Supermarkets proudly support SA farmers and this week we are running an end of week special on our very own Foodland branded Adelaide Hills cherries. New season fruit in 300g fridge packs and just $4.95 a punnet. Special starts Thursday and we threw in Parker's SA strawberries as well at $3.99 punnet.

19.01.2022 Like to help our rock lobster industry this Xmas? We are taking orders for freshly cooked and frozen Ferguson Australian Rock Lobsters. They are 1.0 -1.5kg each and will be $79.95 per kg. We have a limited number allocated to our store and you can place your order with the girls at the front. Be quick.

19.01.2022 Fathers Day - this Sunday and we have a range of ideas for Dad. Darrell Lea cooler bags with chocolates inside - on Special this week. Work socks and beer mugs as well.

18.01.2022 For any of our customers looking for some new gluten free lines, these products hit the shelves late last week. The Table of Plenty rice cakes are a hit with the staff and we have them in various pack sizes. We have a pretty good range of GF products available in the store and if you have an empty packet of something we dont stock we will try to get it for you.

17.01.2022 COVID restrictions come into force from midnight tonight. We will be able to provide phone orders 86282158 and email orders [email protected]. Please don't send orders via Facebook. We have restrictions on toilet paper only - 1 pack per family or shopping group. Please abide by this and we will have enough to get through. We will have plenty of stock across the store with fresh fruit and veg, dairy and frozens in tonight, groceries tomorrow. We have individual face masks available at the front of the store so that our customers can comply with the restrictions over the next 6 days. At this point in time you don't have to wear a face mask in the store but you do outside. Above all, we are open and our staff will assist as always.

17.01.2022 From Monday 14th of December, we will have a new Covid-19 policy in effect. There will be QR codes available to scan at the front of the store and a sign in book for those without a smart phone. Please be aware that while we would like our customers to scan in when they visit the store, it is not mandatory.

15.01.2022 Charterhouse Knives Loyalty Program We have received notice that the remaining stock customers ordered from this program will be available in October. We will advise as we receive the stock. As you could appreciate, these products come from overseas and there have been significant delays due to the current issues affecting all of us. Thank you for your patience.

14.01.2022 Covid-19 state requirements for supermarkets have changed. We are required to have a 'Covid Marshall' on our premises at all times to assist our customers. All of our staff have undertaken the training course and are Covid Marshalls. At any time you will see one of our staff wearing a badge or vest (or both) to identify that person to our customers. The highlighted vest or badge is simply to provide a gentle reminder that we all have to adhere to the guidelines for social dis...tancing in the community. Once again, if you have a cold or are feeling unwell, we are happy to provide a delivery service for you. If the kids are home sick please don't bring them into the supermarket. Maintain the 1.5m spacing when shopping or waiting to be served. Use the sanitizer located at the front of the store. We have accessed some face masks and disinfectant wipes for sale should anyone be looking for these items. It is not a requirement to wear a facemask in the supermarket at this point in time and we would hope it remains that way.

14.01.2022 Cold , wet (hopefully) and windy weekend coming up. Perfect Pizza weather. Two brands of Australian owned and made pizzas - Food Queens and Bertocchi - in stock, on special and delicious. Either loaded up with toppings or fresh bases for you to make your own.

13.01.2022 Our trading hours for the Christmas and New Year period are attached. We will have fruit and veg deliveries on Tuesday 22nd December, Thursday 24th December and Wednesday 30th December. Don't forget to check in using the QR code posters around the store as we are still under the SA government protocols for Covid19, and please keep social distancing in mind when in the supermarket. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a safe and merry Christmas and thank you for your support and patience through this year. Bring on 2021!

11.01.2022 We have an apology to make. Foodland Supermarkets ran a website post for a special on Strawberries and we missed it. It was a one day sale. We do have an issue with the timing of advice for these promotions and getting stock on our transport. So, we are going to run at the advertised price of $2.49 for Friday only. As we will probably run out there will be a limit of 2 per customer. Thank you for your understanding.

04.01.2022 We have accumulated various bits of shop equipment due to upgrades. Contact Greg at the store if you are interested in any of the items. Floor polisher $100 Auto Scrubber $1000 (this has kept our floors clean for a long time and works really well in anything from workshops to concrete floors or retail spaces) Floor Safe $500 Desks x 2 $50 each .

03.01.2022 In a previous post we suggested that the Covid-19 issue was not going to go away in the short term. The current situation in a neighboring state has meant that we may be impacted again in South Australia. This is a friendly reminder to all of our customers that we are still having to practice social distancing within the supermarket and we would really appreciate your help in maintaining the levels of compliance we have seen so far. Our staff are performing our 'Corona Clea...n" a few times a day to help make our business as safe as possible for our customers. We strongly encourage all shoppers to respect the guidelines that help keep our community safe. If you or any of your family are showing signs of illness we are happy to provide a delivery to your home within the Cleve township and we can put together orders to be picked up for out of town customers. At this point in time we do not see the need for limits on purchases of groceries but if you do want a substantial quantity of a particular item just ask us to order it in for you.
