25.01.2022 Cleveland Lodge has had it’s last meeting for 2019. The Lodge will next meet on the 4th February 2020, hopefully at the new home of Freemasonry in Townsville 50 Ingham Rd West End. Thanks to all who have liked our Facebook page over the past year. 24.01.2022 Cleveland Lodge 74 Brethren donate $500 to Knitted Knockers North Queensland in loving memory of our departed Sister Noreta Stark who was taken from us by cancer. Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Traditional breast prosthetics are usually expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable. They typically require special bras or camisoles with pockets and cant be worn for weeks after s...urgery. Knitted Knockers on the other hand are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. The volunteers contribute both their time and their money to this worthwhile task as they purchase the cotton thread they use from their own pockets. The completed Knockers are given free to those ladies who need them. Unity Lodge presently has the Graham Stead Travelling Gavel and Cleveland Lodge wishes to relieve them of this burden. 08.01.2022 It has been a while since we updated our Face book page. Congratulations to Very Worshipful Brother Norm Souter-Smith on being awarded the Order of Service to Benevolence for his assistance to those affected in the recent Townsville floods. We also acknowledge the contribution to the flood relief efforts of our sister Beryl Souter-Smith. Meanwhile the Lodge has been actively fundraising in support of our benevolence activities and have held two sausage sizzles at Bunnings Domain and Fairfield Waters.

02.01.2022 Well here we are half way through 2018 and it has been a busy year. We have welcomed Brother Bill Linn into the Craft, Passed Brother Deluca to the Second Degree in the presence of the Most Worshipful Grand Master, and Raised Brother McGuire, Brother Deluca, and Bro Puckridge of Charters Towers Lodge to the Sublime Degree of A Master Mason. Behind the scenes we have raised our Lodge Webpage clevelandlodge74.org.au, created this Facebook Page, and started a Twitter Account.... Our Lodge Banner is almost complete at the embroiders and will be here in the next few weeks. As we move into the second half of 2018 the Lodge shall start with the passing of Brother Linn at our regular meeting on 3 July followed by the election of officers and 125 year celebration planning at our practice meeting on the 31st of July.
