25.01.2022 Today is RUOK day On this RUOK day, and every day, don’t even think twice about reaching out to friends, neighbours, colleagues, and loved ones. Even if they seem OK. It is always better to ask. Because showing that you care, and are willing to listen can make all the difference to someone doing it tough.... Check out the RUOK day website for advice on how to start a conversation, resources and more: http://ow.ly/xBTk50BlF3x

17.01.2022 More than 100 years ago, at 11am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of the most brutal war the world had seen. In the four years of that war, more than 330,000 Australians served overseas, and over 60,000 had died. Today, on 11 November we mark that anniversary, and remember all those who sacrificed so much for us all, both in WWI, and all the wars, conflicts and operations that have happened since, and still continue today.... We particularly honour and celebrate those among our residents, and their families, who are veterans of conflicts, and hope that you will join us in paying our respects and express our gratitude for all they have given.

16.01.2022 Today is Father’s day. Father’s day is a time to reflect and celebrate all the father figures in our lives; dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, sons, friends and carers. At RetireAustralia we treasure the love they give, the knowledge they share, and the care they show. Not just today, but every day.

14.01.2022 Thanks for all your support as we worked our way through the first week of Phase 1 easing of restrictions. Please read our latest update by clicking on the link below. http://ow.ly/a4Om50zNjSu

10.01.2022 We love this story of Del and Evon who live in our sister village over at Wellington Point. Everyone has a story, and it often influences their decision to move into a retirement village to make the most of their retirement years. We have old friends and relatives living here, so this story really struck a chord with us.

09.01.2022 The significant spike in COVID-19 cases in Victoria, clusters in New South Wales and new cases in South Australia and Queensland are, understandably, a cause for concern amongst many of our residents and their families. Read on for an update on what we are doing to keep our villages COVIDsafe. It’s a team effort, so we want to thank you for the part you are playing by making good choices to keep yourself and your community safe.... http://ow.ly/O8Fe50AUOF5
