12.01.2022 Yesterday marked the start of a very special week for all Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia. The theme for this year’s NAIDOC is, Always Was, Always Will Be. Always Was, Always Will Be recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples were Australia’s first explorers, first navigators, first engineers, first farmers, first botanists, first sc...ientists, first diplomats, first astronomers and first artists. The very first footprints on this continent were those belonging to First Nations peoples. NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace our history - a history which dates back thousands of generations. Watch this space to see how we at CSS are celebrating and upholding NAIDOC 2020.

11.01.2022 World Mental Health Week. In honor of World Mental Health Week We're sharing the top five favourite coping tips according to science. Click on the link to find out more. https://www.youtube.com/watch... 2020 has been rough for lots of reasons, but especially because we’re battling a worldwide pandemic that has caused a lot of fear, uncertainty, and disruption to our normal routines. According to Dr Laurie Santos, "Most of us want to do things to make ourselves feel better. The problem is that we choose to do the wrong stuff. I’ve seen this first hand as a Professor of Psychology at Yale. When times get tough, we think we should just eat something unhealthy, or go inward and avoid people, or just plop down and watch television. But as my short video will show there are better, more evidence-based ways to cope!" Stay safe and stay happy,
