23.01.2022 Conditions are looking good for a sail tomorrow morning, possibly over to Straddie depending on how it looks when we get on the water. If anyone's keen for a sail feel free to join us. I'll be launching at 9 AM from CYC. Please note there will be no safety boat but there will be three or four other boats on the water so safety in numbers.

22.01.2022 Yesterday finally allowed those keen to get the cobwebs off their boats. A light and variable South to E/NE shifting wind made for tricky conditions. 21.01.2022 The Management Committee has decided on the following. Sunday racing has been SUSPENDED until the Sunday after Mothers day in May. Members can still sail from the clubhouse grounds. No sanctioned events will be held. Please practise hygeine requirements. An update will be posted end of April.... Action Shopfitters Peel Island Marathon has been CANCELLED until 2021. The above reflects the constantly changing situation regarding the Corona virus. Our members and volunteers wellbeing is paramount. Stay safe. See more

Orientation day will commence at 9am and wrap up at approx 12 noon. You will by now have been emailed or messaged with what to bring.... 09.01.2022 WE'RE BACK. Yesterday's AGM was well attended. Sailing Committee positions filled. Building Committee positions filled. Management Committee positions filled.... START SEASON date. 9th August a soft start will take place at 11 am. Followed by the start of the racing Calendar on the 23rd August at 11 am. A big thankyou to the outgoing Committee. 08.01.2022 Club Update. As we near the end of April it appears that the Covid 19 is starting to be contained. So it seems that positive news is now starting to come through. A number of issues will need to be addressed during May. Presentation rescheduling. AGM postponement. Expected season start. Etc.... On a more positive note the club now has a tractor to assist with launch and retrieval of the TABS. So WATCH THIS SPACE. And remember to practice the necessary Covid 19 rules during this period. 06.01.2022 UPDATE. As we progress along the Covid 19 route it seems that Stage 2 on the 12th June will provide some more certainty regarding club organised sailing activities. Hopefully this will help your club to start setting in place various events. So keep safe and observe current guidelines. WE WILL BE BACK.

03.01.2022 Today we welcomed our future Volunteer Safety Boat drivers. Moreton Bay was at it's absolute best. Clear water. Blue Skies. No wind. Another Orientation day is scheduled for Sunday 19th July. Hopefully we will be under Stage 3 Covid 19 restrictions by then.... A huge THANKYOU to those who attended today.
