17.01.2022 I feel I am always carrying on about the fast fashion industry and how cheap clothing teaches us to be more of a throwaway culture (which I hate). So I put my money where my mouth is with this project. I bought this denim dress years ago and wore it quite a lot, but sometime in the last few months I managed to get fluoro green and pink paint stains on it, so I stopped wearing it. Well, with a little artistic flair and my first shot at free motion applique, I covered up the pa...int stains with scraps of fabric and I love the result! 12.01.2022 Just finished working on these oven gloves and I have to say I am a bit in love with my new rainbow Bubble O' Bill fabric ! When I was sewing these up my husband (who was born overseas) saw them and said that Bubble O' Bill was the first ice-cream he had when his family arrived in Australia.
