22.01.2022 One of the nicest things to do when staying at Gracetown is to take a walk up Cowaramup Brook. The little bridge over the road is the start of a trail that wends it’s way east along the creek. Best in Spring when the flowers are out and the water is running.

15.01.2022 If you see one of these don’t panic. It’s a SW carpet python and they are endemic to the area. Just look for the diamond shape head and distinct markings. Make some noise and it will go on it’s way. This 70cm one was sunbaking on the deck at Clews Cottage while I was cleaning today. It’s just a baby and you might be lucky enough to see it when you visit.
