25.01.2022 Leanne wanted to know all about her camera and was super quick to catch on! She loved the beach, Kiama and Saddleback Mountain - especially the horses and the many vistas available up there from the side of the road. Thanks for a great day out :)

24.01.2022 Do you LOVE photography? Join me for a tour of Canberra's Iconic architecture and learn how to take AWESOME photographs!! ***Only 2 spots left***

22.01.2022 Click walk learn is back. It was SO great to take a couple of girls out to teach them all about 'hand held' photography and their cameras. Whilst Sam and Simone had some knowledge of their cameras with sunrise/sunset photography, they wanted to know more about AV mode, shutter speeds and their cameras. We visited Cathedral Rock {this never disappoints} the lush hills of Jamberoo {and even photographed some Llamas} and downtown Kiama. Thanks girls for a fabulous day, I look forward to critiquing your photos soon.

21.01.2022 It's always great to recieve a testimonial for one of my photography tours. Here's what Paola had to say after our recent click walk learn tour in Canberra. Thanks Paola for your kind words :) "I did a number of photography tours with Christine including the last one, in October 2019, Iconic Architecture in Canberra which was a refresher course in learning the basics of using your camera and the important elements one needs to understand when taking photos.... Christine is a very knowledgeable about photo taking. Everything is explained very clearly and repeated to make sure you grasp what she is talking about. In addition to her explanation she will demonstrate it by taking a photo. Christine group lessons are not large thus allowing are to help individuals who are having problems. She also supplies handouts to use as a reference tool. Christine is a lovely dedicated person full of energy and encourages you to. post your photos for her to critique."

17.01.2022 What a fabulous day out we had in Canberra. It turned slightly 'cold' but that didn't stop the enthusiastic students learning and creating some awesome photographs! We photographed the flags down by the Lake, explored Parliament house, had lunch at Poppy's cafe and then spent lots of time wandering around the war memorial and the surrounding gardens. Thanks to Paola, Ash, Kate & Georgia and Kath for a wonderful day - I can't wait to see your shots :)

17.01.2022 Abby is a VERY enthusiastic young photographer who loved learning all about her new Canon IXUS 190. She quickly picked up on all the in's and out's of composition, lighting, focus and how to get the most of her camera. We photographed birds, wombats, flowers and lots of other animals. Thanks Abby for a great day, I can't wait to give you some feedback on your photos :)

15.01.2022 Another fabulous day out taking pics with Nick. First off, we explored Werri Beach and the rough seas at Gerroa Headland. We then headed through Berry towards Cambewarra Mountain. The view from the top was amazing! Nick took so many photos and enjoyed the different scenery along the way - we were even lucky enough for a wedge-tailed eagle to fly past.... The last part of our trip was through the countryside around Wattamolla near Berry. There were so many fabulous photo opportunities around this area. We saw a blue kingfisher {no pics - he was too fast for us}, a horse and 3 chickens. Nick enjoyed using the sepia colour filter on his camera - it really suited some of the landscapes. Thanks Nick for another great day out. If you enjoy these pics - please feel free to leave a comment. :)

15.01.2022 Nicholas had his first lesson with me earlier this week. We visited Wollongong Botanic gardens where we discussed lots of general tips regarding his camera {the Canon 200D mk ii.} We got straight into the learning about the use of aperture and the effect of it on your photographs, framing and composition, black and white pics and macro photography! Nic is a natural behind the lens and his enthusiasm and ability to 'spot' a great photo will be of great benefit to him in the future... See you next week Nick!!

12.01.2022 Sam & Simone wanted to up their 'focus' skills and learn more about this area of photography. We chose Bombo Quarry as the area to start the tour and quickly dived into focus points, focus/recompose technique, oneshot vs aiservo and more. Thanks for a fabulous day girls

10.01.2022 What a fantastic day Nicholas and I had out and about taking photos. We explored many areas around the lush green hills of Jamberoo where Nick photographed some beautiful scenes including a stream, the Jamberoo Fun Park, and plenty of dairy cows :) We were also lucky enough to find ourselves in a rainforest where the sounds from the cicadas were deafening {video in comments.} The highlight of the day was definitely seeing a wallaby who sat still and posed for Nick. ... We then explored the beautiful Minamurra Headland and photographed the Minamurra River, The Stack and some gorgeous views over the escarpment. Nick has also developed his own 'logo' to make his photos look more professional - I love it!! I'll be making comments underneath each photo - please feel free to leave your own comments if desired. :)
