21.01.2022 Clifton Beach Surf Life Saving Club are so proud to have hosted the filming Adopt an Hour at our very own beach. Every year volunteer surf lifesavers give 1.4 million hours of their time to keeping our waterways safer. On average each of our surf lifesavers donates 32 hours each, to the safety of you and your family. This year, the Surf Life Saving Foundation is encouraging Australians to ‘Adopt an hour’ given by our surf lifesavers. You can support us by donating from as little as $1 for each hour.

07.01.2022 The overcast weather did not dampen the spirits of those who came to Clifton today. I think one of my highlights was seeing all the parents out under the watchful eye of Craig Sly on the boards this morning. I think many now have a true appreciation of the skills their kids have on the boards. We had a great turn our for the Nipper board training and thank you to Shayne for his coaching. Great to see so many kids gaining confidence in the water by spending more time on the bo...ards. Then we rolled on to Nippers. The stagger start caught a few people out. But this will be how we roll from now on. 9.30am U11, U12, U13. 10.00am Polar Bears, U8, U9, U10. From what I saw everyone loved being back in the surf and especially on the boards. And if the day doesn't sound busy enough..... we had a group of keen athletes across at Carlton Park, participating in a State Surf Sports Development team workshop. From all reports it sounded like a great morning. We look forward to seeing these kids continue to develop their skills and share some of their knowledge back at the club. Next Sunday we will all be on the same beach as we celebrate 40 years of Women in Surf Lifesaving. But in the meantime don't forget to set your alarms a little earlier on Wednesday morning for 6am board training. No better way to start your day!
06.01.2022 Best of luck Craig Sly
