24.01.2022 Chair of the Clifton Megafauna Group, Ian Sobbe, and publicity officer, Nelma Ward, accept a handover of new information brochures from Clifton Courier graphic designer, Jo Glasheen. Funding to produce the brochures was sourced through a Toowoomba Regional Council Grant.
07.01.2022 Palaeontologists from Australia, the USA, Canada, UK, Korea and China visited the Pleistocene / Pliocene vertebrate fossil localities in Clifton in October 2019. Ian Sobbe hosted the visitors at his property on the day, where his extensive collection was much admired with one visitor heard to say that the display ‘was better than any museum’. TRC Mayor, Paul Antonio, and Member for Condamine, Pat Weir, also attended.
