24.01.2022 Junior Update- Section 5 girls Pt Lonsdale Team has unfortunately pulled out, their spot position #8 in the draw will now also be a bye, as well as position #7.... We also just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page with more schools closing down due to COVID-19. Players are NOT to be playing if they attend a school that has been shut down. They are required to be isolated until they hear from their school that they are clear to go back normal or they have had a test and received a negative result. We know this will impact many kids; however, we need to take great care to keep everyone safe. Please let your club know ASAP if the above effects you & subsequently CLUB COORDINATORS if you are missing ANY players due to COVID-19 and need to forfeit sets, please ensure you let the opposition know as well as send Kerry an email, so she can manually adjust the points in LM. The points for these sets will be split between both teams. Thank you all for your hard work and understanding at this difficult time. TG Junior Committee

09.01.2022 INFORMATION FOR ALL PLAYERS There are still guidelines that we as players, clubs and association need to abide by for our sport to continue as planned. CLUBS have provided assurances that they have plans in place to manage movement at their venues, and these can be found on our website: https://www.tennis.com.au/tennisgeelonginc/covid Every PLAYER must complete a Player Declaration before taking the court for their first match. This is so everyone is aware of what precautions... need to be taken while participating. The link for the declaration is here: https://forms.gle/BNStq5bPbe6J5icY7 As this is online, registration is immediate, and you will receive an email once the registration is submitted. Regular team players should ensure all emergencies/fill ins complete this. If not, sets will be forfeited. This form has been streamlined from Winter, so only one registration is required for all competitions, but for ease of identification it is recommended that a registration is done for each club, if you play at more than one. Stay safe and enjoy the season! See more
