24.01.2022 Today I would like to feature some of our 2 way dresses (i.e. reversible). You can get double the mileage out of these one side you wear during the day and if you are going out with friends you can do the old Superman trick duck into the nearest phone booth (ladies rest room) and reverse your dress. These dresses are a bit of fun and also take up less room in your robe.

23.01.2022 After the recent Royal wedding it seems appropriate that our winter range is titled Winter in Windsor. With the cooler weather upon us, what a nice way to cosy up using our beautiful range of natural fibres. Here is a little taste of what is in store!

21.01.2022 This blast from the past came in over the counter for a battery today whilst I was in store at Climate Classics with Janine Muller. This CM19 especially the all... steel version was the precursor to our Countrymaster work watch collection. Great throwback for me! #adinawatches #familybusiness #australianwatch #workwatch See more

03.01.2022 The story about the man behind the watch; I wanted to share this story with you. Pictured is George Gnezdiloff who purchased a new NK96T1XB from us. George was in the market for a new watch and he happened to come in as I was pricing the stock. George, on several occasions previously had brought in various watches (old favourites), which Steve had tried to keep going. Anyway, upon filling in the guarantee and George spending a little time in the air-conditioning he told me a ...little about his life story and it is fascinating! His dad had escaped from Russia with his family when George was about 6 years - due to the rogue armies that were threatening peaceful farming villages and they went to the U.K. and eventually arrived in Australia. George spent most of his adult life in north Queensland but prior to that he was in the U.K. and wanted to his bit for the 2nd world war. He was conscripted into the Army, which was a disappointment for George, who wanted to join the Air Force. So after serving some time in to army - driving Bren gun carriers, he received notification that the air force wanted him. He served with the RAF at Swinderby in Norfolk https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Swinderby flying Lancaster Bombers as a wireless operator which included the use of Morse code. He was commended by his superiors "by being the best wireless operator they had". George is 98 years young and will be turning 99 in September. He is quietly spoken and is such a hidden treasure - see photos attached of a very proud George sporting his new Adina. See more
