24.01.2022 Great turnout for Crag Care on this fabulous spring Sunday. We had a huge search for Muraltia and we're all still learning about this weed. Tawny dragons and orchids abound in our fabulous crags. Thanks everyone for coming out and helping to make it a great day!

24.01.2022 Regardless of the fire ban rating on the weekend, consider avoiding the Summit to prevent creating angst amongst stakeholders while fire activity is high.Regardless of the fire ban rating on the weekend, consider avoiding the Summit to prevent creating angst amongst stakeholders while fire activity is high.

22.01.2022 Hi all, Old Norton Summit Rd is currently (mostly) closed for maintenance until Feb 12th. The locals have asked that due to the large number of construction vehicles, climbers avoid the summit until the road is re-opened for public access. Cheers

22.01.2022 In line with government requirements to enforce all our efforts at social distancing, Vertical Reality Climbing will be closed until further notice. At VRC, we...'ve been helping you reach for the top for 25 years and we're looking forward to getting you back there as soon as possible. Take care of yourself, your family & your community. 12.01.2022 Wow, what a great Crag Care today. So huge we kind of didn't have enough time to take photos! Olives galore got evicted from the ground! Others were out pulling up broom. The photos don't really do the work justice but they do give you an idea!

11.01.2022 Please note everyone, All parks will be closed from Midnight tonight.

11.01.2022 A great team out in some pretty steep country crag caring today. Clearing out some of the weeds east of the Muesli wall descent there was olive, rhamnus, boneseed and cottonbush all in the sights of these fantastic bush carers. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped out!

10.01.2022 For our Crag Carers. Will let you know if the situation changes!

08.01.2022 So much goodness in this photo! Just a quick note to let you all know we won't being going ahead with our 2020 - 6 years of Crag Care anniversary event this May, but we are looking forward to getting out again with everyone as soon as we possibly can!

04.01.2022 We had an incredible record breaking 28 people turn up for Crag Care this morning! Down at Far Crag the blackberry received a hammering, olives were dealt a killing blow and the boneseed seek and destroy mission extended around the corner into the Throne Room area. It was awesome! Thanks to everyone who came along and special thank to the UniSA Rock Climbing Club team for providing the extra helmets needed to keep everyone safe!

03.01.2022 There has been a lot of chat about climbing outdoors at the moment. You shouldn't be thinking: could I catch it from the rock? But: could I pass it on to someone who comes after me?... That answer is yes. So don't.

02.01.2022 The fire danger for the area near the Summit has eased overnight, so should be okay to go ahead with your weekend plansThe fire danger for the area near the Summit has eased overnight, so should be okay to go ahead with your weekend plans

01.01.2022 It felt a bit hot out there this morning, but that didn't stop the Crag Care team from getting stuck in! Boneseed at the base of Throne Room & olive spraying at the base of Billiard table. Thanks for the great work everyone!

01.01.2022 Have you purchased a low-stretch kernmantle Petzl rope since March 2018? This notification about inspection required was sent through last night. A good reminder to regularly inspect your ropes! https://www.petzl.com//Request-for-inspection-of-Petzl-low
